Photopass timing question

Ok so I am not sure what the time restrcitions are for the photopass. But, i was wondering....I am going on the 17th for the Trick or treat party & will also be going for New Year's eve & day.. anyway the timing works out so that i could get both trips on the cd? *crosses fingers*

I do believe so!

However, what you would need to do is not upload your photos. Your photos are only good on the website for 30 days. But that timer doesn't start until the date you upload them.

However, I don't know if there is a limit on how long the photos are good for without uploading them. (I don't know if you wait until january, if those photos would still be there from october) I would try asking a photopass photographer?

If not, there are always share to save the cost!

You have 30 days from the first picture to upload them. So you'd go on Oct 17th, and since there's a 31st that means they would expire on/by the 16th of Nov. Then you have 30 days after that to order. After that, they go poof.

So you will be missing New Years. There's just too long in between.

(though it's *possible* you could have those pix on your account on your NYE trip, IF you use the same photopass card...it happened for me with a mid-Sept trip and an early Dec trip, but I've NEVER heard of it happening again so do NOT plan on it, but you might as well use the same card just in case)

It is possible if you have a way of going to the park before the 30 days and getting your previous pictures saved to a new card which gives you 30 more days. Which is good if you are able to multiple times.
Over the summer I had 3 day park hoppers. My first visit was July 19 followed by Aug 2, Aug 9, and Sept. 7. On the 9th I went to the photo shop on Main Street and got previous pictures saved to a new photopass card so I was able to all 4 visits on one cd.

I was looking at the photopass site for another question, and came across this. I haven't done the month-math, so it still might not make any difference, but it's interesting.


I have to type it out, so forgive any typos I don't catch. It won't let me copy/paste the info.

Get 30 more days to enjoy your photos!

1) Make any purchase on disneyphotopass .com.

2) Upon receipt of your order, we'll automatically reset your photo expiration date to 30 days from when they would have expired (Please allow 24 hours for the update).

3) After 24 hours has passed, click on any photo on your account to view the new expiration date.

4) Use the extra time to enjoy and share and use them to create holiday cards and gifts including photo mugs and all new photo calendars.


Note: Expiration dates vary based on when your photos were taken and claimed. Be sure to click on the photos in your account to see the new expiration dates.
