Anyone have any luck getting the lanyard at goofy's without doing the meal? I'd love to pick it up the evening we arrive and not have to think about it on our first morning.
I am waiting until I visit DL with Photopass + later this year to be completely straight on what happens with BBB and the photos there.
I know that the photos taken during the 'transformation' are by a Photopass photographer and can therefore be added to your card (normal photopass or +).
What I am unsure about is the photos taken as a 'photoshoot' after the transformation, in the studio with Cinderella's carriage. These photos normally cost $29.99 if bought as a package add-on. (or come as part of the Castle package - the most expensive one). I have emailed Disney Photopass service and if I have interpreted the response I got correctly they seemed to say that with Photopass + you could get the photoshoot photos added to your card for free, but if you wanted the hard copies of these you would need to purchase the package add-on as usual.
Will update this post after I have first hand experience to report, or happy to add in others experiences!
I love superthreads! So much useful info
I have a question about a split stay at DLR. If I start the PP+ on the first short part of our trip, then it will be expired only a couple of days into our week long stay. Am I reading correctly on the first page that although you can no longer add ride photos or character meal photos after 14 days, that we will still be able to add regular PP photos? Is there a limit on this? I'll need 18-20 days to cover our whole split stay. I want ride photos from both stays as one will be with my DH, and the other will be with my parents. However, I can make sure I get all the ride photos and character meals done on the first couple of days of our return visit so that it's still within the 14 days from first use.
Otherwise, will I need to buy a separate PP+ for each stay? Or maybe it would work out cheaper to just use regular PP for the first part and choose which photos we want. But I want digital copies, not prints. Can you buy digital copies of the photos without buying a whole CD? Not happy with DH for making my life so difficult![]()
When we were there in July 2013, there was not a Photopass photographer taking pictures during the transformation. I read here I think that it was too crowded of a space to get the photographers to do it.
I asked about the photos w/ the carriage and we did not get the castle package and was told I'd have to pay $29.99, even w/ PP+. It is possible it has changed and I was given wrong info. Maybe someone can chime in who has been more recently. FWIW, the person answering your email is in Florida, and may not have the full info of how DL works. We did have photographers in WDW BBB in the salon, but not at DL.
You can also do a search as I swear I read on a BBB thread that the photographers were no longer in the salon...I apologize if I am wrong. I'll try to find the info.
EDITED: I found a recent thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3262075&highlight=bbb+photopass
That is why I will take a printed copy of the email. I have been very specific in my email that it was at DL etc and it is a large part of my justification of spending the money on PP+ I too can see a potential issue once there though reading the various reports...

Are there many photopass photographers out and about later in the evening as it gets darker? Or are they mostly around just during daylight? I'd love to get some shots of our family in front of the castle at night!
We got plenty of night time shots last week! At the Storyteller's Statue, various Cars Land locations and Town Square at DL, with the castle in the background. It did seem that overall, Photopass photographers were more plentiful at DCA, but maybe it was just our timing?
Sorry, one more question...
I noticed that the Disney website says that you get a photo CD with a "limited license agreement". How is it limited and what can you do with the photos? I usually like to make a photo book on shutterfly after a vacation, will I be able to use the photos in my vacation book?
