Greetings,

Doin' the single-digit dance here in Saint Louis!!!

Can the PhotoPass service be used like a real-time or near-real time journal?

If we are photographed by a PhotoPass photographer on Sunday evening, when will those pictures be available for viewing from the web?

Then, when would Monday's pictures be available...and Tuesday...and so on and so forth....

Thanks!!

We used Photopass when it was first implemented, and it took several days for the photos to show up (and some never showed up). I feel sure the system has improved by now so would also like to hear from people on the current timeliness of photo availability.

DH and the kids are down there right now. He text messaged me the i.d. #'s in the a.m. (and then realized you can re-use the same card) around 10:30 a.m. and when I checked in the afternoon around 4:00 p.m., almost all the morning pictures at MGM were up. When I checked again in the evening, all the p.m. pics from MK were up and the remaining a.m. pics were there as well. My only complaint is that quite a few of the pictures were rather dark and there is no way to edit them. Maybe eventually?

Keep in mind that if you are an AP holder, you can purchase your pictures (in person only) at any of the parks and get a 20% discount showing your active AP. (May 1 through July 31). You have to do it in person and can NOT get the discount once you come home. I used the 50% off of 4 photos AP discount card on my last trip. I thought the pictures were a little expensive for what I received. When you buy from home you just get a little kodak envelope with your pictures, nothing else. No folder, matting....hardly worth the $7 per picture I paid (and this was 50% off). When we purchase in the parks, they are usually put into a nice folder/paper frame. We will stick to viewing them at the park at the end of our trip and purchase there. It is a nice concept, just a little expensive--though shipping was a fair amount at $1.99 total. JMHO.

Thanks for reminding me - through June 6th you can get a 20% discount at the online site if you spend more than $40.

:) Michele
