I know this has been done to death recently, but I still don't understand how I get the ride photos added to my PP+. I'd be really grateful if someone could explain in layman's terms before we go on Friday :flower3:.

Also, just to recap, we just hand our PP+ card over to M&G photographers - did I read somewhere that it's best to give the photographer your card AFTER your photo is taken? I believe this is to try and prevent photos going missing / being put onto someone else's account :confused3.

It's very easy to put onride photos onto your Photopass+.
Just give your card to the person behind the register and they will do it for you.
That's all you need to do if you want HD quality.

I would give my Photopass+ before the photo is taken.
Otherwise the photographer might already take the regular Photopass to put the photo on before you can give your PP+ to them.
Since they are professional photographers they probably would know themselves if they would have to scan the card before or after they take the photo.

Do you mean the register/kiosk where you would normally buy the actual ride photo? Hoping the queues won't be really long with us being there Halloween weekend :scared1:!

I think it was Jonjo who said to let photographer know you have card, but give it to them after photo is taken. I am sure this was to ensure they didn't mix it up with someone else's photos - which I have read has happened when they've scanned before taking your photo?? :confused3

I guess we can just see how it goes, but I agree you'd need to let photographer know first.

Yes at the normal kiosk where you would normally buy the photo.
You can scan the photo with the app yourself, but the quality isn't that good.
If you want HD quality you have to let the card be scanned at the register.
I hope so you haha, I'm leaving for DLP tonight and come back next Tuesday!
So I'm going to be there this weekend too haha.

Could be that that was just a mix up during the tests or something.
A lot of people always right horror stories and one person picks that up and it gets turned into a really big thing.
You just have to go along with it, but I personally would do it as I said earlier.

If you have downloaded the app and registered your card to the app (you put your card number into the app to add the card to your account) then you can scan the QR code on your ride picture. We did this on our last trip and it worked well. The picture appeared quite quickly on the app and we were able to download it once we got back into a wifi zone.

so even without wifi or 3g, if you have the app on your device and you've registered your photopass card account to the app, you can see when photos are put on the app? I thought I wouldn't be able to view the new photos put on the app until i was in a wifi zone?

(we're going to get the photopass card anyway :upsidedow , as it does seem the bugs are being worked out).

Thanks - sounds complicated but I'll sort it. I can't even get the app to download to my mobile - oh dear! :upsidedow DH has managed though and he's on 3 so gets free wifi etc.
