Photopass + Redemption Locations?

Are the only two locations to claim your prepaid Photopass+ inside the parks? We will be doing a character dinner on our arrival day and don't want to waste a day off our hoppers just to claim the Photopass. Can any of the resorts claim the voucher for us?

I've read that you can often redeem the voucher at the character meal itself if there is PP+ photographer present because at those meals, they also sell PP+. I haven't tried it, but I know they were selling PP+ at Surf's Up (PCH Grill at breakfast).

There really aren't any PP photographs at any of the resorts (except for the character meals) or DTD on a regular basis. So perhaps DLR feels there really isn't that much of a need for PP redemption centers outside of the parks or the character meals.

We will be redeeming ours at Goofy's kitchen the night we arrive.

We have changed our dinner plans for our arrival day. Has anyone been able to redeem their Photopass voucher at Goofy's Kitchen just by stopping by without a reservation for dinner?

We faced the same dilemma. We had a reservation at ariels grotto for 9am breakfast and that was our first day at the park. Thee are only 2 reliable locations to redeem the photo pass plus-- DL Main Street photo and in DCA at the shop in the arcade (?) area right by the main entrance.

I actually tried to go in at 8am using the magic morning 8am entrance time but Main Street photo wasn't open until 9am :-(. So we went to DCA a bit early as they were letting people in at 8:45 through the gates. We stood in line at the store and a helpful CM started the process. We had to wait until exactly 9am to redeem the photo pass but then we speed walked to ariels grotto and got there about 5 min late but it was totally fine!

In case anyone is reading this thread I did receive an email Photo Pass confirming that both PCH Grill and Goofy's Kitchen can redeem vouchers but I am still not sure if they will only do it with a reservation.

In 2013 we had dinner at Goofy's Kitchen on arrival night. They couldn't redeem our voucher and didn't give us our photos but I went to the place in DCA the next morning and they redeemed my voucher and printed our Goofy pictures and gave us the folder and all. Hopefully you can do it at the meals now, but it was no problem the old way other than me being anxious.

If you have an early character breakfast before you pick up your PP+ card, especially if it's at the Plaza, it is quite easy - everyone can go to breakfast and get the picture taken, then one person goes to pick up the PP+ card at the camera shop, which isn't far at all (at least, it's not far from the Plaza - Ariel's is a different story). When they come around with the photo package to buy, show them your card and they'll process it accordingly.
