I don't know about a cd, but I just ordered the pics that I wanted. I didn't really understand how it worked either. If I had known I would have taken MANY more pictures while there. I did the Tink picture where you hold out your hand and the photographer (who we walked up to) didn't even try to get the castle in the background or anything.

I have tried saving my pictures to the computer, and it doesn't work (unless there is some way to do it other than right clicking...). So I just ended up buying a few of them. I know I'd end up mad if I didn't get them.

The picture should stay available for about 60 days. Buy one at a time, and the bite to your wallet won't be so bad. Think of it this way, you just came back from spending probably thousands of dollars on this magical trip, what is maybe a hundred more to preserve the magical memories? :goodvibes

Ours were only available for 30 days. We actually bought 2 of the same one, one plain and one we put a border on.

Oh, I thought they were there longer than that. We had ours done in July and they were up for about two months.

In July ours were only available for 30 days but we didn't buy any. I did save them to my computer but they are tiny.

This is actually why I got the photopass movie! There were many shots that I really loved (I took advantage of this service frequently, much to my kids dismay! ;) ). For less than the price of 4 prints, I got all the photos plus 68 of my own pictures from the trip, on a very magical dvd. :goodvibes No, I can't make prints from them, but I can see them whenever I want!! :sunny:

I was just checking out the Photopass and was wondering what are the prices of the pictures. I know they are expensive but if anyone could give me a detail list here....just the prices of the different sizes!! Thanks!!

Here are the sizes & prices when you view them online. Not sure if the sizes & prices are the same when you buy them in the parks. I think there might have been some other package options in the parks.

5x7 - $12.95
8x10 - $16.95
4 Wallets - $12.95
5x7 & Wallets - $19.95

OK, just looked it up on allearsnet & in this article, she lists the packages available in the parks:

We just returned from Disney last week.
I wish I'd purchased my Photopass pictures while on our trip, but I'd wanted time to review them at home.

They were cheaper in the parks.

I specifically remember that they had a package of 3 5X7s for $29.95...& it did not have to be 3 of the same photo, it could be 3 different pics.

Now that we're home...online, 1 5X7 is $12.95.

I'm still taking my time to decide (waiting to see which ones did not come out too well that I took with my camera, have to get my film developed)...they're online for 30 days.

Thanks so very much!! Just gives me an idea what to expect.

I got the CD and think it is great. I haven't printed out any pictures yet but I can't wait.

There is a link to my pictures in my siggy that I edited it down but you get an idea and can see the prices and extras you can do on the pictutres.

BTW, you have to get all the extras on the CD because you can't can't add after. At least that is how it was explained to me. TG the girl at Epcot did it all for me. I added stuff to the online ones to look like whet my Cd does.

I got over 120 pictures on the photopass thing, thanks to the DIS boards for the tips.

How much was the CD and what's the resolution like on the images? I haven't been to WDW in a while so I'm slowly catching up with everything that's new since we may be going in the fall (fingers crossed).

$99 for the CD

I am not great with the computer to answer the other question. Did you see my pictures in my link, last one. Don't know if that wil help anwser you questions. I think they are very clear, especially compared to my new 5.2 something camera. I have some red eye issues with my camera.

Check out the picture in my signature; that is a Photopass picture.

The CD for $99 is a great deal; we got over 78 prints on it. Also, for those of you who want to wait to view your pictures at home, you can view them at certain locations in Disney with no rush, at least I didn't feel rushed. I went through all 78 prints before buying the CD.

Everyone who I have showed the movie to has loved it!! My sister plans on getting a copy when they go in March. It is well worth the cost...and yes, if your computer copies DVDs, you can make additional copies yourself (SSSHH! Don't tell Disney!! ;) ). YOU decide which photos you want to use and you put them in the order that you chose. You can even see a preview of YOUR movie before you place your order. It is FANTASTIC!! :woohoo: The "little extras" really bring home the magic. :thumbsup2 There is also a slide show of all your photos on the dvd as well. :sunny:

Okay, don't flame me for this, but I didn't make it to any of the locations to get the Photopass CD and I'm kinda glad I didn't. Most of the pics weren't that great. I think there is only one or two out of the 80 that DS was looking at the camera and actually smiling. Anyway, I opened the pic I wanted to copy and hit "print screen" on my keyboard, which copies the entire page. I then opened "paint" program on my computer and pasted the entire image. Then I used the "cut" tool (I think that's what it is) and cut out the picture portion and pasted it into a new document. I don't have any plans to print them because the resolution doesn't appear very good, but I have them to look at or email or whatever. The one in my sig is a photopass pic, but it's not very clear.
