Help, does anyone know if they no longer offer the photopass+ preorder CD with the new MDE website? I have been trying all day to preorder a CD for our January trip and none of the links to get the $50 discount are working? Am I too late to take advantage of the preorder offer since the old site is being shut down today and only the MDE will work for photopass?

I have heard they may do away with the PP+ at WDW because of integration with Magic Bands or something? They may get something new in place but a WDW cm said she was told the PP+ cards, anyway, would be going away.

The only thing I have heard in that regard is that they will eventually link PP to the magic bands so you won't need a PP card.

What do folks find to be the better deal/option - the Photopass+ or the regular Photopass?

We did get our PP+ packet in the mail over the weekend. I was surprised that it just doesn't link with our Magic Bands. I was also sent a CD in the packet, that is new to me...does anyone know what the CD is for?:confused3 Especially since we ordered PP+ as prearrival.

I believe the CD has the Disney stock images you can use when creating photo books, etc...

If you plan on eating at any of the restaurants that offer photo packages (Participating Character Dining Locations: 1900 Park Fare; 'Ohana (breakfast only); Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show; Chef Mickey’s; Cinderella’s Royal Table; Tusker House (breakfast only); Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue) or riding any of the rides that offer the photos (Space Mountain; Splash Mountain; Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin; The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror; Rock ‘n Roller Coaster; Expedition Everest; and Dinosaur) then I believe the Photopass + is worth it.
When you order the Photopass + the photo dining packages are free (normall $30 to purchase at the table). It also entitles you to the digital downloads of all the ride photos (you don't get the print just the download).
So one photo package from a meal and it's already made up the difference.

Thanks for the link! Our extended family is heading down in January and this makes a great Christmas gift for my Dad.
