OK, no great poses....but I thought I would post the new WDW frames.

I agree with Marie - Judy, you are very modest! Those pictures are great (everyone on this thread always comes through with some fantastic Photopass shots)! They are so bright and sunny and happy-looking! And you guys do make a very photogenic pair! The smoochy-huggy pictures are so sweet. I love the picture with the popsicle too. Way to work in a prop!

Nice pix Judy!

I still don't have my recent PP yet but I did find out on Friday that a pix taken of my DD in DCA the week before won picture of the week. It was taken in front of Corn Dog Castle with Stitch eating his ice cream. Once I get my CD I will post it, along with others.

So, what's next, picture of the month, the quarter, the year???? A mom can dream, can't she.

I figured all my friends on this thread would appreciate the news. Thanks for listening.

Curious, how much do you crop your pictures? I find myself ruthlessly cropping to pretty good results.

Yes, it's for all the Disney PP photographers. The choose a few (or one?)each week. Then from those they pick a monthly one. Then a quarterly one, and from 4 quarters they pick Picture of the Year, of all pictures taken that year. One of my favorite photogrpahers won 2008 photo of the year-it inc. all pictures taken by all PP photographers during 2008. All parks.

I will crop a lot if there is something (or someone) I want to remove from my picture-or cover it/them with a border. Then when I get my CD I will use photoshop to remove/correct other unwanted things.

Sometimes I'll crop myself out of a picture and just have DD in it.

Great picture! He is the best! He has taken some great pictures of us. (Thanks for reposting my picture of him )
He's also very nice. They've been moving him around a lot. Lately he's been at the Jedi show about once a week. Also has been doing Minnie (TT), Pooh's Corner, Jr. Chef Show, Town Square, etc. If you find him tell him Terri sent you!

My fav photo took this one by laying on the ground! Pretty cool, huh? He took a few of them, inc. ones with DD and I but this one came out the best!

This one I got by asking one of the photogs in front of the castle if he could take the balloon shot there, he said no, but maybe he could by the Matterhorn. He asked his lead (who happened to be nearby) he okay'd it and we got this one. The photog said it was the first one he knew of taken with the Matterhorn and balloons (this was at the end of April).

Dizneydaz, if all goes well and I don't collapse from being overheated, I should be taking a FEW more PhotoPass pictures on July 21 to add to the thread. I have never done summer PhotoPass pictures, and most likely I will be perspiring in all of them (like I was in October), but I will take one for the team and do it just to add to our little thread over here!! All for the cause!

What types of "magic shots" do the photographers do there? Are they the same as at DL? More? Less?

Pretty much the same now that DLR has added more. There is one where you can hold Simba that is only at AK in WDW.

DLR has the hitchhiking ghosts (when you can get them) but WDW has the ghost driving the hearse.

Of course there's Tink and Stitch. I haven't done Soarin' at WDW, I'm sure someone here will post if they have. Also not sure if they are doing the Celebrate balloons. Hope so.

When I look back at our WDW PP pix, most of them are of our family alone, without much enhancements. They do offer some fun poses (Charlies Angels at DHS, etc.) Look through this thread for some ideas.
