I'm working on my photopass plus pictures and have a question!

I see that each picture is 4x6, and there's an option to change it to 5x7 or 8x10.

That's really just if you want to order individual prints from Disney - right?

I can just leave everything 4x6 on my cd, and print in larger sizes later - correct?

The only issue is if you add borders. 4x6 and 5x7 don't have the same width to height ratio. So the border will get cropped either on the top and bottom or the sides.

Here is a diagram that tries to explain it.

Thanks!

I probably won't use too many borders, so it should be easy to just include 3 copies of those pictures (one in each size.)

Is there an option to just include every picture in the different sizes, without doing each one seperately?

They might charge you extra to include a separate file for each different size.

I've ordered the CD previous and have never had an issue with the size though. I've printed an 8X10 from whatever the default file they include on the disc, and it was fine. It didn't have borders though. But as far as the quality of the 8X10 image, it was fine.

Don't think so but like you said you only have to do that for ones you add the borders to. You don't have to do anything to the other files. The photos are not really 4x6 inches they are whatever the resolution the camera has like 3,000 by 2,000 pixels.

1. They might charge you extra to include a separate file for each different size.

1. I have never heard of them charging extra. I have heard of people getting multiple CDs because they do so many edits.

2. Yes the only issue here is the borders because they are "fit" to the ratio of height to width of the final size.

If you pay for the CD you get all your photos and all your edits with borders and in various sizes. You can also do a digital download of all your photos and edits in various sizes instead of an actual CD, that is what I do. Instant gratification and all :)
