The Gallery CD is not the same thing as the regular photo CD we would buy with our DLR photos on it. That's a totally separate CD.
I've done PhotoPass a bunch of times and I've ordered CDs with 100, 300 and 500 photos on them after only 3- or 4-day trips. I made it work for me. I got my money's worth. It's good to make use of the photographers and make the system work for you if you are going to buy the CD. If you are not able or willing to invest the time to get all the photos taken at the different locations, return to those spots and get more taken and then apply all the borders once you get home, the CD is probably not a good choice for you. It might be better to buy single shots. Or you just kind of have to know that you may only end up with a few photos on your CD.
When I say return to the same photo spots you have already had pictures taken the day before and get them taken again, this is because they might be better the second day than they were the first day. Stop at every photographer you see. Some are better and more fun than others. The photographers won't come to you - you have to seek out every one you see, let them do crazy stuff with you and pose you in assorted ways, ask for all the magic shots and get all kinds of variations of shots. Then, you come home and save a copy of every single border on every single photo - some borders will look better than others, and you have different versions to give out to different family members or whomever.
I would bet that once all the work in DCA is done in 2012 or 2013, there will be a bunch more PhotoPass photographers milling about. Some of them had their spots taken from them once all the work commenced.
