Photopass Photo Ops: Photographer sighting at DL (Update in progress)

So I just joined a photopass CD share for our May/ June DL trip and while it seems we came across a gazillion PP photographers in WDW, they were harder to find in DL. I am trying to compile a list of photopass sightings in the park. Please reply and let me know where you have encountered DL photopass photographers and I will try to update this 1st post with all the locations we come up with. Give details of where and what can be seen in your pic if possible (including special effects)

I'll start: (Updated 3/17/10 w/ other sightings & info. Updates in BLUE)

DL

-In front of Mickey flowers just after entering (Day and Night availability) --Mickey Flowers/ Railroad Sign in Background

-By flagpoll on Main Street--Main Street in background ***Tink in hands image available

-At the beginning of Main Street, right where the carriages stop-- one with Mickey and then one with Minnie, sitting next to you on park bench

-In front of the Castle (partners statue area) --***Tink effect available and also a nice panoramic shot including your family with Partners statue/ Castle in View

-In front of Castle (Entrance, Day or Night shot)-- Castle in Background (Closer up)-***tink in hands image available

-Bridge that leads to carnation plaza--Pic taken sitting on the little fence with the castle in the background

-By carnation plaza (Night shot)--during fireworks pic of the castle and the fireworks in the background

-Pathway to Matterhorn/IASW l near Fantasyland Castle entrance-- w/ Matterhorn in View

-In front of It's a Small World--nice panoramic view of IASW

-Inside Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, photographer documents the makeover process and will put all the pics on your photopass card. You DO NOT need to buy a photo package for this

-Princess Fantasy Faire--One Photog w/ each Princess

-In Mickey's House in Toontown- Pic/ with the big guy

-Pixie Hollow-One Photographer w/ each fairy. I believe Tinker Bell is always there with ONE additional fairy friend present.

-In front of Tomorrowland entrance w/ Astro Orbitor in background

-Outside of Star Tours you can get a picture "fighting" with Darth Vader

-Just before the bridge connecting Frontierland & Fantasyland with BTMMR Mountain in background

-On Tom Sawyers Island/ Pirate's Lair--***Effect of adding you fighting with Captian Hook

-On the waterfront, Rivers of America--Tom Sawyers Island/ Pirate Lair in Background***Effect of adding you fighting w/ Captain Hook

-In Front of Haunted Mansion(entrance)-HM in background, ***Hitching Ghost effect available

-On Bridge, heading to Paradise Pier/ Ariel's Grotto --Nice view of PP area, Sunwheel and Screamin'. ***photographer would line up someone in the pic with the Mickey ears on Screamin' to make it look like that person had ears on... really cute!

-At Ariel's Groto-Photo w/ Ariel inside the restaurant (MUST be dining there to take pic w/ Ariel) . Will only be added to your photopass card if you buy the photo pkg. The printed photo on your package will have a photopass # on the corner of the print so you can add it.

-In Paradise Pier area, King Triton's Caroseul

-DCA Disney Visa Meet & Greet/ Currently at __________ area--Pic w/ Character headliners in vacation clothes-we had Mickey & Goofy


AT RESORTS:

-Goofy's Kitchen--IF you purchase a photo pkg of the pictures they take with the character before you get seated, you will then get a photopass code to add to your photopass collection.
-Paradise Pier/ Character Breakfast--Pic w/ Character (new character buffet option now so will wait hear reports of character options/ photopass availability) Can only add to your Photopass Card if you purchase a print package

Of course, these may not all be available on any given day but it helps to know where to look for them if you are trying to fill up those photopass cards!

When we were there in November, there were photopass photographers everywhere, it seemed; especially if there were characters around. There was a whole set up for pictures with Pooh, Tigger and Eyore (that name doesn't look correct no matter how I spell it) in Critter Country. There were also a number of them in DCA in the middle of the sun plaza (I believe it is called), where there were a number of characters hanging out. There also was one taking pictures of people posing with McQueen and Mater over across from Soarin'. I know there were more; I am just blanking at the moment.

At Goofy's kitchen breakfast, there is a photographer but not part of photopass. They take your pictures with a character (ours was Pluto) before you are seated and they bring them to you during the meal. You have the option to purchase these separately ($30 for 2 5x7s and 2 4x6s).

It may be different for the character meals in the parks though.

That's too bad. It seems like when we were in WDW at Chef Mickey's, we were able to get our photos taken with Goofy added to our photopass card but that may have been because we bought a photo print package. Wonder if it works the same at Goofy's Kitchen?

Yep - if you buy the photo packages available at WDW character meals, you can add them to your photopass account.

Thats right! I remember seeing a photographer over there as well while I was waiting for my oldest dd and dh to finish riding screamin'. The photog working here was really engaging and if my 2 youngest had not been sleeping in the stroller, I would have been all over these as they did look cute.

Maybe I missed something somewhere (I tend to do that a lot ), but does photopass include those pics when you are on the ride (like at Splash)...probably not...but thought I'd check.
