Photopass on rides too?

I haven't found the answer to this one........is the photopass available just for the street/spur-of-the-moment photos or is is also available for the ride pictures like Splash Mountain and RnR?

Also, will all the parks photos be linked so you can just go in to one location to see your pictures?

So far it's sounding like a really neat idea!

Park rides are not linked to Photo Pass.

If you use the same photo pass throughout your trip, they will be linked. Basically, when you have your first photo taken, the photographer will give you a photo pass card, and then for each picture you have taken after that, you give the photographer your card, and they will slide it in a little machine they have hooked to thier belt, and your picture will go to the same card number.

If you forget and leave your PhotoPass card in your room, the photographer will simply give you a new card.

When you go to the PhotoPass web site and enter the numbers from a card, it will allow you to enter multiple cards onto your account, and all the pics from all your multiple cards will be in one place for viewing.

Right now, ride photos are not part of PhotoPass, only the photos from roving photographers. But I certainly hope Disney will see the logic in adding ride photos to the system, though it may cost some money to put a card swipe machine at each ride and figure out exactly how to swipe the card and get the right photo onto it.

Oh darn. It's the ride photos we're more apt to buy. OH well, hopefully they'll add that next eh?

They had one with Mickey Mouse at Epcot. Just a tip even if it is cold outside wear a t-shirt or tanktop for the picture. We are wearing jackets in some of the pictures and they just dont look as nice.

How long do the pics stay in the computer? Do you have to check them daily or can you wait till you have a chunk of time at the end of your trip? Can you access pics from all the parks at one place or is this just park to park per sey.

Photos linked to a Disney's PhotoPass I.D. will be available online the morning after the photos were taken. Guests must claim photos within 30 days from when the photos were taken. Once photos are claimed and associated to a DisneyPhotoPass.com account, they will be available for viewing, sharing and purchasing for 60 days from which the account was created. Photos that have been claimed will be deleted from DisneyPhotoPass.com after 60 days.

We viewed our photos the next day. Then 2 days later, we linked more pictures, but didn't view them for a couple of days. One week later, we decided to buy the Epcot picture, after in-park viewing at AK. We were told we could NOT buy the Epcot picture at AK. We could only buy the AK picture at AK. If we wanted the Epcot picture, we had to either go back to Epcot, or order it online (we ordered online after returning home, and received our photo 4 days later) The only difference with ordering online, we did NOT get the 'cardboard frame' that we have gotten in years past when we picked up the photo in the park.



I just logged in again and viewed our photo from our Dec 5 trip.

If you wait to purchase until day 59, then they will be available to view online for an additional 30 days, or so I was told.

We really loved the photopass system and I think having as many photos availabe as possible would be great!!! I have been showing the site to everyone, and all seem to love it. Disney, can you hear me? Thank you.

I got two cards last week. I am home, one card "can't be found" by ID #. I put in a request to the site with details, I hope they find them. Its Mini and DD. I took my own too, but not developed yet.

One pic on photopass looks grainy, will they fix that if I buy it ??? anyone know ?? Thanks
