Photopass - more furious than I've ever been at Disney

Hope it works out for you David. Losing all that time you devoted to it is aggravating. Fingers crossed for you. :)
 
As frustrating as Disney's IT can be, I'm sure they can restore your extension (and the photos) on Tuesday or so. But hopefully the post completely lacking in compassion will be the only one. You have a perfect right to be upset. I would be.
 
For what it's worth, they did help me out once. A couple years ago I made calendars for my kids with photopass pictures. Through my own oversight, I used the wrong starting month when I placed the order. By the time I got my calendars and realized my mistake, my photos were long gone from the photopass site. I called the photopass people and explained my error and asked if there was any way to recover my photos so I could buy a new calendar. Not only did the CM on the phone restore the pictures to my account, she gave me a credit on the account so I wouldn't have to pay to replace the calendar. So there is hope that they can restore what was in your account I hope the OP has the same luck that I did.
 
They should be able to restore the photos, but I am not sure if they'll be able to restore your photo book work unfortunately :( I got a Groupon in email today for Shutterfly 8x8 books at $9.99...perhaps your local Groupon has the same offer? They do offer some Disney theming now. If you get your pictures back, I'd download them and make the book on Shutterfly. Disney doesn't deserve your money for the photobook after this!
 

I feel so fortunate to have purchased one of the last photo pass plus cards ever sold at WDW. I bought it a year in a advance and somewhere along the line they switched to Memory Maker. The CD was included and they even put Mine Train videos on it. I was wary of the online access only thing.

Also the CMs had fun with it as in "Is this a real Photo Pass Plus?" And holding it up to admire.
 
I agree....Disney's Photopass website, app and wifi need a MAJOR overhaul! My daughter and I have Platinum APs which included PP. When we renewed our APs at the end of December our pictures stopped showing up on the PP website. I could only access them through the MDE app. Suddenly today, the first day of our trip, none our pictures from today are showing up on the app AND all of the pictures from the last day of my daughters trip a couple of weeks ago are now missing. I went to the photo shop in Epcot and they just blew it off on their bad wifi and the busy holiday weekend. I had absolutely no problems at all during 2 trips before and after Christmas. I know Memorial Day couldn't be busier than Christmas week!
 
Oh no! That is awful. We added photo pass to our trip in November because I am tired of never being in the pictures since I am the Mom and usually the one behind the camera. ;) I hope they get it resolved somehow for you.

Did your issue ever get resolved?? We purchased MM for our trip in April and like so many had major problems using the photopass site to edit/enhance photos. So bad that I could only do maybe 5 photos max per log in session. I asked and was granted an extension.

I finally finished editing photos last night and my husband went it to download them all just now. Well, after he hit the download button he was logged out of photopass site and all our photos are gone! :(:( When we try to log in or re-link our memory maker number it says "it's already been claimed".

HELP! I am really hoping the photos aren't gone. When one relies on a system to take photos so as to enjoy vacation without looking though a camera lens it really needs to be reliable. So frustrated!

Would love some words of wisdom. I will obviously be giving them a call when they open in the morning .
