Photopass + help?!

I'm going in 153 days to WDW, is it too early to buy my photopass plus pre order thing? It says it has to be 14 days before the vacation, but I don't know if you have to buy it on the 14th day before or anytime before, could I buy it now, even with 5 months to go?

You can buy as far out as you like. I just emailed last week to make sure the policy hadn't changed and have it in writing from them that there is no expiration. By the way, I am buying 2: one for this year and one for next year (which is why I needed written confirmation that it was ok)

They just want you to order it far enough ahead of time for the package to reach you by mail before you leave home for your trip.
