Ok I just read on photopass that all pictures are set to 4x6 and if you want to make a larger copy once you get the cd you need to save each individual picture as that size before you order the cd.

Is that correct? If you have used photopass before what has been your experience with this?

Thanks!

That is correct. On my first PP CD, I didn't know that and my borders were cut off when I printed in different sizes than I had saved on the CD. You have to save the photos on the CD in each size you may want to print.

How do you save the pictures in a different size?

Thanks much

When you're on the editing screen - there is a pull down menu up in the right hand top corner - it allows you to pick different sizes, then you just hit "save as copy" and you will have an additional copy of the photo in the new size you chose.

Thanks Vicki!

For those photos that you dont put a border on... if you dont save in a bigger size before you get the cd, does the quality get bad if you try and print in a bigger size?

I don't think whether you save them bigger or not would have any impact on the quality - the images are still the same quality - saving them bigger doesn't improve on that. I have never printed anything bigger than 8x10, but mainly I print 5x7 and 4x6 and they have always been fine.

I found that when I finally had the photos on CD, I could treat them like any photo I had taken (quality wise) But, if you want to crop it ahead of time on the site, that may give you slightly better quality than waiting to crop on your computer.

Thanks!

Can I go back and order more stuff after I've already sent for my photo cd? Or do my pics disappear after that?

No there is no quality difference. I have one pic from 2009 blown up to 11 by 17. They only issue is the borders as others have said. The borders need to be sized according to the final size you wish to print. If you dont care about the borders ( i really dont use them much) then just save them all normally.
