Photopass help needed

Ok, this is turning out to be harder than I expected.......

Before we visited in January I decided that we probably wouldn't use the Photopass option (unlike previous trips to WDW). Then when we got there and saw the special 60th anniversary shots, I thought why not. I now have about 100 photos (including my daughters Jedi training) linked to the card and have been able to preview them all.

What is the best way I can download them to keep?

Am I correct in that the CD option (that I used last time at WDW) is no longer available?
Do I have to buy each photo individually (for 12.95) and download them that way?
or....
Can I purchase Memory Maker (or is that just a WDW thing) and then get a cd option that way?
or....
Is there another way?

Thanks for your help.

The only alternatives for you right now (unless you have an AP with Photopass included) are to purchase them 1) by the shot or 2) by the day ($39/day).

You can buy them all individually (OUCH!) or there is a one-day option for $39/day. Unfortunately all multi-day options have been eliminated.

There's been lots of discussion over the changes made to the Photopass service at DLR recently: check out the last few pages of this thread if you want more information on this topic

Many people are writing to share their disappointment with Disney on this decision as what used to cost $69.99 with the pre-buy and $99 with the buy in park option, now costs $39 per day, which adds up to just shy of $200 if you buy a full 5 day park hopper.

They have also removed the ability to add borders to your photos from the website - this now can only be done at the camera stores in DL or DCA (from my understanding).

So yes, the others are correct, your only option is to really pay the $39 for each day you would like to buy more than 3 pictures, otherwise if there are only 1 or 2 pictures per day you want you can do the per picture option.

Edited to add: Not sure when in January you visited, but you only have 45 days to purchase your photos -and I am sure that is what you are trying to do but just a reminder.

I have always purchased a CD of my Photopass photos at Disneyland in the past. It's likely that I won't be able to afford another Disneyland trip until the Star Wars Land is complete. I am hoping that by that time, Disneyland will have something similar to WDW's Memory Maker.

I think that Disney should offer free Photopass Downloads to Deluxe Annual Passholders, not just the highest tiers.

Could you go to the shop on the last day of your trip and add borders or other stuff to photos on the account, but not buy them at that time (but instead review the photos at home and decide what to buy or to do a 1 day pass)? Or do the borders only stay if you purchase at that time?

Also, are the "magic shots" incorperated automatically or do you have to do something in the parks to make that happen?

I can't answer your first question but for the second all magic is added automatically. If you have a shot that should have magic but doesn't you can call the Disney Photopass number and they'll add it in if at all possible.

The first time I read this, I thought it was a bad idea. I can see the lines in the parks backing up terribly as people mull over their decisions about borders.
