I just checked my photos on the photo pass website and noticed there are 3 pictures of a little girl on there that I don't know. Also other photos of my little girl and goofy and Mickey are missing. Anyone else having problems?

I'm missing some pictures too. I think I gave the photographer a card with pictures and he gave me back a blank one instead. Next time I'll get a fresh card from each photographer.

How old does the little girl look? Could they be the pictures I'm missing of my 4 year old?

I just checked mine and I have a couple pictures of three little boys with Santa Goofy at the Animal Kingdom. If anybody thinks they might be theirs, let me know.

Have any of you contacted PhotoPass support or Disney.com site admins? They may not be aware of some bugs in this new program. Just like any new system, there are unforseen bugs that don't show up until the system "goes live".

Photopass is the biggest scam of them all.

They took 11 pictures of my latest trip and not a single one is adequate. Part of our heads got lopped off... on ALL the pictures. The pictures I took using my own camera and/or tripod look much better than theirs.

I wish there is a way I can copy the pictures so all of you can see how atrocious they all are. Even my DD6 says that the photographers are stupid (after looking at those pictures).

Imagine, a picture of my DD6 with Pooh with part of Pooh's head lopped off. The same goes with Mickey's head, and Tigger. The pictures of us with The Tree of Life background got part of the tree lopped off.

Where did these photographers took the course/training? Ever heard of proper framing?

GRRRRRRR

I was disappointed with most of ours also. Alot of them were dark, as if they didn't use a flash, but they did. But they did manage to get a few pics that I didn't (the whole family) , and I did order 6 pics! EEK! IKWYM too about cutting of heads, a few were like that too. I know one day at Epcot they did tell us they were training and had trainers with them. And they have that device they can look at to see if they got the picture, guess that didn't matter.
Anyone up for sharing their pics? Could probably just email them to yourself and post the link? OR PM?

I haven't had any problems with the pictures I've had done... Btw, the only thing that has changed with the introduction of PhotoPass is the added opportunity to view and purchase your photos beyond the day they are taken. You can still view the photos at the camera center at each park, and the photographers actually have a display on their belts that shows exactly what the photos look like (you can see it right after it's snapped. Sorry if your photos didn't turn out as well as you hoped, but they weren't hidden from you and the service doesn't cost extra (even though there's been a tremendous investment in infrastructure expansion and staffing increases to support it.) Kind of a lame scam...

Yes they showed them to me, without me knowing that the option is not for 4x6 but for 5x7, which is an entirely different aspect ratio which require completely different way of framing. That's the scam part. They gave hope that the picture will turn out good (which they are, if they maintain their 4x6 ratio) which in the end is not the case.

Who's in the right mind will print 5x7 when the framing is for a tight 4x6? Of course heads are being lopped off.

PS: I don't think that they are photographers at all, they are just regular blokes being given a camera. They don't even bother taking the picture at the guests' eye level (or at least the group's average eye level).

They really should not take any picture whatsoever. They can't operate even a simple Auto Focus camera?

Nobody's forced to buy these photo's. If it were mandatory to see the characters that would be a scam. But it being optional, I don't think it's anything to get so emotional over.

Well, the problem is, as I stated eariler:

"They gave hope that the picture will turn out good (which they are, if they maintain their 4x6 ratio) which in the end is not the case."

If they've just mentioned that the 4x6 is not an option at all, then I would be able to tell from the get go that the pictures they've been taking are all wrong when they showed us on their preview screen.

I also had a problem with a CM trying to give me a different PhotoPass Card than the one I handed them ...lucky I noticed.

My tip for Disney would be for them to mark the card with a Sharpie with the parties name on it so that way you make sure you get the same card back.

Also I made sure I only handed the card to them when they needed to swipe it in their reader...that way they only had it for a second or two.

Yes, most of the photos taken were not the best...but I don't have to order them either.

I got all my pictures - no one elses and they weren't bad. I had some great photographers that took extra time to make sure they got a good pic of my DD who was 13 months old and challenging to photograph. I was disappointed with one photographer in the Magic Kingdom who didn't seem to care if my DD was looking remotely towards the camera or not - but we just had one taken again later with a different photographer. And although I don't believe it's anything to do with photopass or Disney I do understand the disappointment you must be feeling FatCow (Okay I feel funny calling you that but I don't know what else to call you) when your photos of your vacation with the entire party didn't turn out as well as you had hoped they would. I know the photos they take in the parks are the only ones that have all three of us together and they are priceless to me.

Sorry if I missed it - can someone tell me how this new system works?

I understand that you are given a card with all of your photos on it - then you can look them up on-line once home? Can you print them out or email them from this website? Or do you have the ability to just order them once at home?

Any info would be greatly appreciated - we'll be down in just about a month - thanks!! :D

I didn't have any problems with ours. All the pictures came back okay, and we ordered one. My only problem was that we couldn't find any photographers at MK! I wanted a pic with Tink in our hands or something!

If you have extra photos of "other kids", can you maybe give a description of the child & the outfit they are wearing? I'm hoping I have all of our photos, but I haven't had a chance to check yet!

Thanks!!

I haven't had any problems with Photo Pass except that one time I couldn't get in to my account because it wouldn't accept my password for some reason. I emailed Photo Pass and they emailed me a new password the same day.

All our pictures are not the best, but we don't have any lopped off heads or anything and there is even one where they put Tink in our hands and I LOVE that one! Out of 17 pictures, I will probably order 3 or 4 of them. My brother is a professional photographer though and I might have ordered a couple more if he hadn't gotten some great similiar shots.

The program is new and I'm sure they are still working out the bugs. All in all, I think it's a great idea and will be even better once it's more developed. I hope they work up into having the photographers at the character meals and more photographers at more places throughout the parks.

We used the photo pass and were pleased with most of the pictures - there are one or 2 where the photographer got a close up and didn't get the Minnie and Mickey in the front of Epcot but then she took another one at the same time that was not as close up and had the Minnie and Mickey in it. All of the photographers took multiple pictures. Also all of our pictures were on our card without any other little kids - but then we didn't hand the card to them until AFTER they took the picture - so there was no mess up. Sorry you must have just hit it at a bad time.

Here's a link of some of the horrid pics they took:

http://groups.msn.com/lafamigliadisusilo/dissterousphotopasspics.msnw?Page=Last

Dancia and Pooh : out of focus, wrong angle, Pooh's head lopped off

Dancia and Tiger : slightly out of focus, framing too tight so when it goes to print the top of the Tree of light and the bottom of the tiger will be lopped off.

Dave and Pooh : Out of focus, Pooh's head lopped off

Dave Together : Specifically asked for the SH to be shown in full but somehow they cropped it like that... oh and they didn't use fill-flash for the picture although it's clear that the sun was behind us. That's photography 101.

Just bumping the thread so people can see how awful the pictures are.

I copy/pasted mine and printed myself instead of ordering through them
