Photopass Excursions

Just saw someone post on Facebook that they are doing Photopass Excursions in DL now. We have done "Capture Your Moment" in the MK and enjoyed it. Anybody know anything about this version at DL?

What would you like to know? This is what I know.

• It is free if you have PhotoPass
• It runs from noon to 7 pm.
• They suggest you are in line by 6:30 pm.
• The line is on the left side of the bridge entering Frontierland (before the pin traders)
• The wait can be 45+ minutes.
• You choose a land (Adventure, Frontier, Fantasy, Main Street, etc) but not SWGE.
• You get approximately 10 min with a photographer
• You can get in line as many times as you want
• It is currently only available in Disneyland and not in DCA

Thank you! That's a great rundown. I'm kind of shocked it's free with Photopass. Or that it's not just for MK owners or something. Any idea if they will be doing this for a while or if it's a limited time thing? Did they do this before?

They did a test run about a year ago (not sure of the exact timeline). They did it in DL for a few weeks and then DCA for a few weeks. In DCA, they needed to stay away from Carsland and Avengers campus due to licensing. In DL, it is SWGE that they need to stay away from.

Rumor is that they are going to keep doing this for the 70th. Whether it will indeed last all year, I'm not sure.

Thanks! We will be there the first week of January right at the end of holiday time. Fingers crossed they continue it for a while.
