What is the difference between the Photopass and the Photopass plus?? :confused3 Also, when I go to the Photopass sight to purchase...there is no mention of the Plus? If I decide to go with the Plus...how would I order them?

I must be blind...I have been to the site but I can't seem to find the difference between the Photopass and the Photopass Plus.

Photopass+ includes photos from the rides that take your picture and certain character dining. Here is Disney's description: Disney PhotoPass+ allows you to capture all your vacation memories - all Disney's PhotoPass photos plus select Attraction and Character Dining photos - within a 14 day visit to the Disney Parks for one price. It includes a PhotoCD with all your Disney's PhotoPass photos and select Attraction &Character Dining photos, a copy of Disney's Photo Gallery CD and print packages at select Character Dining locations.

Regular Photopass does not include the attractions or character dining. I found this by typing Photopass+ into google. We did the + on our recent trip and really enjoyed. If you like the ride photos it really pays for itself, because you can get as many as you want for each ride! Hope this helps :-)

PhotoPass+ for us. I am a picture maniac and an avid. Scrapbooker. Gonna have to be the plus.

I notice it says select attractions and select character meals are covered? Does anyone has a list of what is covered? Or if it is easier, a list of what is not covered?

So basically, if you purchase this, any photos linked to your account are yours to print as you wish where you wish?

Finally, how do you get your photo from a ride linked to the Photopass+ - do you go by the desk after the ride to get them to link it?

Will they just take pictures with your camera? I don't know if this sounds cheap or not, but it actually is me just trying to save a little. I'm going to have my own camera, but would like a few photos of us all together, and not sure if the photos (whether it be a package or not) are really worth it. Will they do this for you, or is it looked down upon since they are trying to get you to pay for a photo?

The following is based on character meet and greets only not for taking pictures in front of the castle, tree of life, etc:

I have never had a CM refuse to take photos with my own camera. BUT they seem to just take one (not saying that is always the case) and then hand the camera back to you. I have noticed a trend, though, DH and I have made four trips since 2007 and the willingness of CMs to take pictures with your camera instead of Photopass seems to be getting less and less - they used to take a couple of shots to make sure they got a good one or in different poses, but now like I said its just one. However for Photpass they seem to do multiple shots to make sure they get a good one and just seem to spend more time taking the photos. Again this is just my experience. Sometimes my poor DH doesn't get in the picture but instead takes my photo to ensure a good one!:lovestruc

I get the Disney is selling a product, but part of me is like hey I already paid to stay on property AND paid to get in the parks, would it kill ya to take a couple extra shots with my digital camera? Again, I get that they are trying to run people through the line quickly AND sell a product, but still just my opinion.

When I have had other people in line behind me, I have never requested the CM to take more photos - wouldn't want to be rude BUT there was one time when DH and I were literally the only people wanting to meet Daisy (at the entrance plaza to Epcot/Future World) and the photographer (who was also very grumpy in general) took one photo of us and handed the camera back without another word. Again, Daisy and the Photopass guy were just standing around before we got there (no one in line) and there was no one behind us - this I just can't explain!!! In general though, even when the CM only takes one photo it usually turns out very well!

Hope that helps!

We didn't have any problems with CMs taking pictures with our camera/iPhone. We didn't actually ever ask they usually asked us. We did have PP+ so we didn't really find it necessary for them to take pictures. The PP photographer or the character attendant offered a few times after seeing my dad taking pictures of me getting autographs before he and my mom joined the picture. At the Storybook Circus, Goofy actually seen my dad taking a picture and insisted that he give the camera to his attendant. At HS, I was taking pictures of my Dad with Wreck it Ralph on my phone and when my mom and I went to get in the picture and the attendant asked if I wanted her to use my phone and she took 5-6 pictures. The only one on our own camera that didn't turn out well was the one with Donald at the Storybook Circus. The red lighting in his area made the photo on our camera turn out very distorted and strange looking, but the PP picture was great. Overall, we had no issues with having photos with our camera taken, but like I said we never really asked, they asked us.

I am not trying to be dense, I just really want to make sure that I understand so anyone that has the patience to help me out, would be greatly appreciated!

If we buy Photopass+ in advance, we automatically get the rights to all photos taken of us (no limit on the number of photos taken) to print or do with as we wish for no additional fee to download? The reason I ask, is we have only gotten a free photopass card handed to us by a photographer and my husband said it was like $25 per photo to download the image. I just want to make sure there are no additional charges on top of the $150 ($200 if you don't pay in advance)?

Can you use Photopass+ at MNSSHP or do they still make you use a separate "MNSSHP-only" photopass?

Do the ride photos come with the borders they normally have when you print them or is it just a plan photo?

Again, thank you anyone with patience to answer my (crazy) detailed questions! I really appreicate it!

Love the PP+ but be sure to preorder as it is $50 less then buying it at the park.

Unlike the regular photopass prepurchase to save $ that only has to be bought before the first picture is taken, you do have to preorder the photopass plus 14 days in advance (according to the website) as they send you a voucher that you turn in for the photopass plus when you get to Disney.
