I just checked my photos I have stored on my computer from the photopass CD. the info box shows that they are 2000 x 3008 taken by a Nikon D70 camera.

Do you have to buy the CD while you are at WDW or can you purchase it once you are home and see all the pictures? Is there a way to view the pictures at WDW before you buy the CD? Just wondering. Leaving in a few days and trying to see if the CD is worth the $$.

I purchased my CD from home. But you can buy it at the parks. The other thing to keep in mind. They are redoing the Photopass website and it's not supposed to be up until January I believe. Not sure how that affects you purchasing after you get home. There are locations to view your photos and purchase the CD or individual photos. Not exactly sure where they all are. Sorry. I'm sure the photographers will know for each park.

FYI:

I don't know if your are planning on attending the MVMCP, but they have a special photopass card for these nights with 50% off 5x7. The only thing is these pictures are not available for purchase on a CD online. You might want to find the place to view them before leaving the park that night if you go. I don't plan on purchasing mine from MVMCP because they were not vry good at all. Goofy's face was covered by his hat. Some of the characters were cut off in the shot. Some of the shots were not very clear. The photopass photos from all other times came out great though!

So thats about 6MPs I believe. D70 is a pretty decent camera too, I'm glad they give you a good res. Thanks for the help!

The resolution is nice, I was able to crop in and just have mickey's face in the picture and it still be clear.
I've bought the cd on my past 2 trips
Jan 06-(3 days)103, just under a dollar a pic
Aug 06-(9 days)233, 43 cents a print.

I'm going for 7 days in January and plan on buying the cd again.
