well, didn't know about the cd that you can purchase at the parks until AFTER we got home... Has anyone tried to contact the places that sell the CDs at the park to order one? Anyone have the phone numbers so I could give it a try!? Thanks so much! I have 60 pictures, most of which are great and would hate to spend that much $$ and get just one little pix.

thanks again!

From what I have heard so far you can not purchase it once you return home because I think they need the actual photopass to burn the pictures onto the cd. Are you going back anytime soon?? I dont know how long the photos will actually stay on the card so that they can be burned in the future.

I was told the photos could be there for a few months (but they wouldn't promise me). I was just there 1/23 and am going back in March. I plan to combine the two visits.

The Photopass CDs are $99 plus tax. We were told that you could only order the CD while you were at WDW - and only at the Epcot photo-station, Toontown or the Grand Floridian.

We had exactly 100 pictures over our 7 days (could not have done that if I tried!). So, I figured $1 a picture was a pretty fair deal. We were told that the CDs could hold 300+ pictures!

Just make sure that if you do it, you plan for a little extra time. We did the Toontown Photo place about an hour and a half before closing - it was the only long line of our entire stay! (Longer than Soarin'!) It took about 30 minutes in line, then another 30 minutes to go through the pictures and burn the CD. Once the pictures are on the CD, you cannot add things to them - like autographs or Tinkerbells or Stitches or Simbas. So, make sure that if there's supposed to be a Tink in your hand on Main Street, she's really there! (We have one picture with our hands cupped - and no Tink! But that's probably my fault b/c I just wanted to get done with the CD!) We can always still order the pic online and have them add Tink that way.

The CM stated that they are working on making the CD available online, but it's not ready yet. It would not hurt to call though - I would probably try the Grand Floridian - it would probably be the easiest to get through! Good Luck!

When we went to Disney back in September they told us the photos would only be available for 30 days, then I got an e-mail saying they'd be available for an extra 30 days then after that I think they gave me another 15 or so. So although they say 30, it seems they are giving everyone at least 60. :goodvibes
