Anyone here purchase the CD of all pix's from DisneyPhotoPass.com upon their return home. Did you have any issues?

If we decide to purchase in the parks, is there anyplace other than Epcot to purchase it?

Thanks

When I asked at the photo place in MK, I was told that it could only be bought there, at Epcot or at the GF, well, we finally bought it at the place where they take the BBB pictures in DTD, there were no lines, and it worked great for us.

I got mine last March in the Judge's Tent in ToonTown in MK. The line was horrible, though, but I've heard it's better now that people can purchase at home. BUT I don't know if you can get any character signatures or dates put on the CD once you get home. I was able to get a CD with a few extras on it that the CM did for me at the counter. It can be a lengthy process if you look at every single picture and edit.

Good luck! :wizard:

There are places to buy the CD in all the Parks now -- usually at the photo center near the front gate, plus ToonTown and DTD. They no longer add the borders and signatures to the photos on the CD's -- it was making the lines too long. The only way to get those is to order them on a photo. There is a way to order the CD once you get home- but it's a different Web site. I like to get mine at the Park, just to be sure I have it right away (altho I think the Web ordering is fairly quick -- sorry I don't have the Web link handy).

I love the PhotoPass CD option -- it seems expensive, but given how much you might spend on soda pop, or other souvenirs, it's worth the cost, if you take lots of opportunities at all the Parks to get the photos taken. We do individual and family shots when we can, without holding up the line too much.

I did it at the park so I can't really answer your question. However, I would like to give you a tip.

We used photopass a lot because I planned to buy the cd. I am glad I buy it because the photographers captured some different poses than I did. Which was nice. BUT... I would strongly recomend that you use your own camera as well if you are wanting a specific picture. Don't rely on Photopass to get it. I found a lot of the photographs to be minimal quality at best. The caslte was cut off of many pictures on Main Street. Isn't that WHY they pose you in that direction on Main Street? :confused3 Also there were many, many, many that we so blurry they are not useable.

It was still nice to have and I do like a lot of the pictures but please don't count on it. Use your camera as well if it's an important shot.

Here is an example.....

Wow, sorry to see that picture so blurry. Wife and I went in August, and got the Photo Pass CD with 126 pictures on it. All were perfect focus, and every landmark was perfectly in the picture.

We used the photopass during our trip in November. We forgot to order the CD at WDW, so we ordered it the next day we got home. It arrived within a week and all 100+ pictures were great and in focused. Very easy to order online when you get home.

That is really good advice - We did take our own cameras and whenever we encountered a Photopass photographer we had them take one of us with their camera and one with ours, then when I got home I was able to compare and order from Photopass if theirs was better. I ended up spending way over the $100 it will now cost me for the CD so I plan to just purchase it, I was just unclear as to where.

Thanks for the input, I was wondering about this

If you order from home, you can't add any of the extras (character signatures, borders, etc). But, if you stop and look at your pictures in the parks, they can add the things and save the original and the altered picture to your photopass.

This will change soon.

Currently you can only purchase the CD through a temporary site (click on Purchase a CD on the Photopass web site and you will be redirected to the temp site automatically), and you cannot add borders or graphics to the pics, you just get the unaltered images direct from the camera.

The Photopass web site has undergone a major rehab in the last month, and soon the CD purchase will be integrated into the new site. Once this happens, the images that get burned onto the CD will be all of the Photopass images in your account (but not any personal images that you upload from your own camera). With the new site, you can save a pic with a border or graphic added to it as a new image in your account, and that new image will be burned to the CD when you order it, including the borders and graphics.

The CD portion was supposed to go live on the new site on Dec 18, but seems to have been delayed.

Hi, Do you (or anyone) know if everything on the updated site is OK with the new photopass rehab?
thanks,
Mary

I would like to know too. When you make changes or add borders, is it saved to your CD? So that when you order it from home all the changes are there as well as the origianl picture?
