photopass cd download

I purchased the photopass CD and i chose to download them instead of being sent as shipping would of been too expensive. They sent me a email saying that i will receive another email when they are ready to download, does anyone know how long it takes before i can download my photos, its already been a day. Its not that its urgent or anything im just worried i must have done something wrong.

They never sent me an email - my DH found them on my account and downloaded them for me. He said they were a pain in the ___ (and this is a man who works with technology for a living, but he hates how Disney runs their websites and makes them more confusing than necessary). Took about three hours to find the right way to do it and complete the download.

I bought my download today. The site said yo give it 24 hours, so I'll let you know if I get an email tomorrow or the next day. It does seem rather difficult.

I ordered mine on the 9th, and STILL do not have them. It's a little annoying that they say you have 10 days from the date you ordered your pics to download them. Now I've only got 8 days....and counting because I haven't received them yet!

Not only that but it took FOR-E-VER to add borders and just review the pics. And many of my photos were not on my account. Disney is amazing, but they really should revamp the photo Pass process.

I'll be calling/emailing today, so I'll let you know what I found out.

I ordered mine today also. I was quite shocked that I had to wait to download them. Do they have to wrap them up in a pretty package or something?

so I emailed customer service about where my photos were. They responded pretty quickly with "oh, we just reviewed your account and see that your photos are available for download." Then I wrote back and told them that the only photos there are the ride photos (30 of them). I have over 300 photos on my photo pass account.

Then they wrote back and said "sorry, we are experincing delays in processing photopass photos. You should see your photos in 2-3 days."

2-3 days until they are available? I guess I will have to use pictures taken with my own camera for Christmas card shots.

Yeah...and we got pics taken with Santa at Epcot that I really wanted to use foe our Christmas cards. Today is day three so we will see if I get them!

I ordered the download hoping that it would be instantly available. I was so confused and was surprised that it could take a few days!

I got notification about the download after 3 days. It was broken up into two files.

The website was so slow that I had to give up on adding borders and editing any of my photos! It was painful and the website kept on freezing!

I got so frustrated with the borders and such also. And after getting the notification that the 10th was the last day to order to get anything in time for Christmas I gave up. I didn't make any changes to the pictures and are still waiting for the download.

Justwinnie, how many photos did you have? I wonder if that's why mines taking longer? Yes...adding borders and such was horrendous! But after a few hours I was able to do it.

Now it's been 4 days since I ordered. I'm on the phone with CS now. 14 min on hold....and still on hold! I REALLY wanted to inlude some of these pics on christmas cards.

I just got my email tonight at 7:40p. Had 84 pictures and didn't put in borders or edited them at all on their site. The shots are about 12 megapixels. Glad I downloaded them first, because you can really see the differences in quality of the photographers.
Some shots had eyes closed and others were blurry compared to viewing on the website. All of them will need some sort of cropping.
It was an easy download for me. I clicked on the .zip file and it downloaded and then I unzipped it. The file was 132MB, and didn't take that long to download. I do have a pretty fast Cable connection though. DSL would probably be slower.

Will I do it again? maybe...

I ordered the download last Sunday ant it took 3 days for it to be available. I was surprised it took so long. I called after 2 days and the lady was just like yeah we are really busy right now. I love Disney and thought everything about our trip was great and so efficient. When it comes to their websites though I feel like they are slow and definitely need some work.
