Photopass and Character Dining

I have read that I have to pay or buy something to have character dining photos added to my photopass. How does this work, how much do I have to spend. My daughter is only 2 so I don't even know if she will take any pictures with the characters, but if she will, I want them....Thanks

If you purchase the family photo (taken before your meal, sometimes with a character), you can add that to your PhotoPass. There aren't PhotoPass photogs inside the restaurant.

You dont have to buy anything if you dont want to. You can take your own pics of your daughter with the characters. But at some meals they will take a group photo of you. And then offer you a package. That isnt cheap. Like 30 dollars for the package.

We hade breakfast at Ohana last summer. They take photos (no characters in this one ... just the family). We purchased a picture package of the photos then told us we could have the photos that were taken added to our photopass cd. We had to go to a kiosk outside the store in the Polynesian to have them added.

If you buy character photos (or get them at Akershus/Cinderella's Royal Table), there's a code printed on the side of your photo. If you put that code into the PhotoPass site, you'll get all of the pics the photographer snapped during that session. We got some GREAT candids with Belle that way. When we got back to the hotel that night, we just entered in the codes.

Also, you may want to consider the PhotoPass CD if you think you'll want a lot of your pics. To buy them individually adds up FAST.

(If you're not paying for the picture - like at Ohana - I don't think they'll let you copy down the code)
