I haven't seen anyone mention the Photopass albums at all. When we got back from our holiday/vacation last month, we had about 35 Photopass photos to choose from, but many of them were almost duplicates of each other - taken at the same time/place, just a different pose.

When it came to trying to choose what to do with them, we looked at all the options online, and decided that we like the idea of the album. I spent one evening uploading a number of our own photos to the system, and then created the album page by page. It took a few hours and a bit of playing around, but it all came together well.

Well, I placed the order online about 9days ago, and our album was delivered today (keep in mind that we live in Australia!):woohoo: . It's GREAT! We're all very impressed with it, and now we've got it to keep and show off forever! I just wanted to say "thank you" to Disney, and let you all know how happy we are with this...

Regards

I have not even been to DL yet this year and I already created an album! After I found out about Photopass website in January, uploaded all out pictures from all our trips since 2001. I made one big album and then I will make one for every trip from now on. I tried to scrapbook our trips myself, but only finished one year. The Photopass album was so easy and so much fun to create! I love the idea that you could use pictures from Disney's collection like the statue of Mickey and Walt and the resorts. I ordered mine on a Sunday and it shipped on Tuesday. FAST!

Is there a website to go to for this? It sounds very cool! :cool2:

And how much did it cost?

So you are happy with the quality, etc.? I was thinking of doing this to save myself some time. They also have just pics in their album that you can use too?

Yes, I am happy with the quality. The actual Photopass photos are very good quality, and print very clearly - even if you do what I did, which is choose to just have a giant version of the photo be the WHOLE page!

If you're using your own photos, you need to make sure that you have edited them in any way that you want to BEFORE you upload them to the site ie: lighten them, turn them the correct way, crop them etc. You also need to be aware that if you're using low quality photos, then they may print a little "fuzzy", just like they would if you printed them at home. Keep that in mind if you're cropping and then enlarging the cropped version of a photo.

Although you can turn/rotate photos once you've uploaded them into the Photopass site, this seems to take ages for it to process, so it's easier to do it before you upload.

I have several pages of the album that are just a photo blown up really big - they look great - even the ones that were our own photos. If anyone's read my trip report, the photo of us looking scared :scared: :scared1: after coming off TOT is one of the ones I had blown up to fill a whole page....

Glad to hear that other people are using this option. I'd never seen it mentioned on here, so was a little wary of using/creating it to start with...

Regards

I could not be any happier:)

I can't wait to start working on my next album for our November trip!
