Hi everyone. Has anyone used Disney photography? We are trying to figure out if it would be worth it or not. There's an outside photographer that I'm thinking of using but I'm not sure if it'll be worth it since they're not allowed at DP's or certain venues. I'm interested in your experiences or advice. Thanx!

I think you'll find you get a better dollar value using an outside photography vendor. I don't think you'll go wrong with any that are recommended here on the boards. I'm using outside photography for my wedding and reception but am using DPS for my in park events. I'm getting a the disc with my images included in my outside photography package so that I can make prints myself. DPS charges a lot more for the disc and the rights to make prints.

I used DPS for most of my wedding events because I had to, if I didn't, I would have used outside photographers for everything. I felt it was worth having the events where I wanted them and having to use DPS, but I know many brides on here feel the opposite.

If you don't mind me asking did you do alot of add-ons or did the regular one suffice? DF would like to have our reception at the living seas so than an outside photographer would be out, but of course using DPS bumps up our budget a bit.

We had an Escape wedding, so we had the photography package that came with it, and than added a photojournalistic photographer, and extended it so that they could do our reception at the Attic. We also paid to upgrade our package so that we had albums, loose pictures and a high res DVD.
