Please help, i need some idea's for pictures...i have no clue!!! Help me please... even the simplest idea will do but its for a competition and they're looking for something like different :thumbsup2 Any ideas?

Use your macro setting (looks like a flower) and get close up photos of things like maybe pencils, jewelery, etc.

Just start snapping pictures of anything.
Sometimes I take the best photos when I'm not looking.
My favorite is close up pictures or from the ground.
Seriously you can take cool pictures of anything.

just go around your house and start taking pictures of the things you pass everyday. i did that once and got the best picture of this little star/candle thing in black and white and now its hanging up in the house.

ideas hit when you arent trying to think of them

wait until about noon, and then go to a tall tree. when you get there, put the tree in front of the sun. then, snap the picture. when i dd this, it turned out like a big black tree with a white halo around it.:thumbsup2

take a picture of simple stuff you would never think of taking a picture of. it's probably better if the picture isn't "posed."

I do things where I get really close to one object the has to do with what I'm taking a picture of and sort of look beyond it.......idk how to explain

I dunno, I'm an architecture kinda photographer. I love taking pictures of manmade things like buildings and bridges. If I'm going shooting in black and white, bridges are really pretty. If I'm going to develop it in sepia, old, rusty buildings/locks/etc. are really, really cool.

One of the best pictures I ever took, though, it was raining and I went into my backyard with my pentax and took an upclose picture of one little section of my deck that was wet and had a random assortment of leaves. When I developed it, it was just beautiful.

^^^Thats picture does sound really beautiful.

I agree with ::Snow_White:: just start taking photographs and you may get something you didn't think would be any good...like a few years ago I took a picture of a corridor in my citie's Cathedral, though it was slightly motion blurred it really fit an image for a demo cover for a band.
:)
