I had a hard time deciding on this, Coast Guard ship or Historical? But reading the history of it, I had to go Historical:
One of four sister ships built for sail training in Germany in the 1930"s, Eagle was commissioned as Horst Wessel by the pre-WWII German navy. At the close of World War II, she was taken as a war reparation by the United States and recommissioned as the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Eagle. Today's Eagle, the seventh in a long line of proud cutters to bear the name, is now the only active (operational) commissioned sailing vessel in the U.S. maritime services.

A few more from around Boston

Historical Invention - Amphibious Vehicle, aka Duck Boat (sorry a little blurry, taken from my car with old pns; in fact, last time I went on them it was this red one). If you visit Boston these are a Must Do. The drivers make it really fun and let the kids onboard "drive" when you're in the water.

I remember seeing this photo here so I thought amphibious vehicle was on the list then when I went to post my amphibious vehicle photos I couldn't find it on the list. It was driving me crazy so I had to find this photo. I have to post the photos even though they don't count because this one was so cool! The folks riding in this vehicle had to get in with a huge ladder thing! I would have taken a photo of the ladder but when I saw it it was POURING!
