Carousel at Glen Echo National Park from the 1930's that has been restored.

History - Plague at Glen Echo National Park describing some blacks protesting not being able to ride the rides at the park.

Ummm.....don't mean to be nitpicky....but this is a hawk, not an owl. Appears to be similar to a Cooper's hawk, which we have around here. Love to watch these guys soar around in the sky....but I've never managed to get a good shot of one yet....jealous of you there!
