Happy belated Independence Day to everyone! Hope you all enjoyed your long weekend and managed to get lots of photos to share!!

So, here goes with a few more photos I have managed to get.

This was in a store window and after I took the photo the store keeper came out and asked what I was doing?? I only took a photo!!! She seemed to be worrried about copyright.?? Anyway, I got away as quickly as I could before she thought about taking my camera!!!

Jars of Rosella Jam for sale. I bought one and got it as far as the drive way then dropped it!! Splat! No more rosella jam for me..!!

Beer Tap:

(I was on a roll with these - the bar tender asked me, after I asked permission, why I needed a photo of the beer tap!! I think I amused her!! )

"Swim between the flags" - the surf lifesavers patrol many beaches and put these flags out where it is safe to swim. The safest place to swim is between the red and yellow flags. Taken in the middle of the afternoon in the middle of winter! Can't get much better than that! It was a glorious day.

The Australian International Motor Show is in town and I figured this was going to be a surefire guaranteed way of getting one specific category. The bonus, of course, was the toy versions of this category that I posted previously. The category is:

Italian Sports Car


Lamborghini

Starting with the perfect colour for the DisBoard...lime green!

Probably the most expensive car in the show....think it was over $500K.

Mesarati

My next car....after I rob a bank and move to a non-extradition treaty country.

Ferrari - Dino

...and whilst German, this is definitely a Sports Car!

ps. I also took pictures of Porsche; but it isn't strictly Italian.

No not in the same day! Luckily my parents live on the Sunshine Coast and I paid them a visit for a couple of days! Caloundra on the way up, and Gympie for a day trip! Definitely too much otherwise!! And I never thought of a picture of the jam - I was more concerned about the loss of the jam!! Obviously I'm not a "natural" photographer!!
