My swiss cheese elephant memory seems to think that the category of Italian Sports Car was one that Pea-n-me's DH wanted. If I recall this in the elephant part of my memory (rather than the swiss cheese hole part), then this post is specifically for Pea-n-me's DH.....

This Lambourghini is the compact model. Notice the clean, white, sleek lines.

I know that Porsche is German...but these all fall within that Sports Car category as well.

With the Porsches...what else but red would be appropriate? Note the headlights....specially designed!

2011July2AIMS185.jpg

And I'm sure you can hit top speed with this model!.......eventually.

2011July2AIMS111.jpg

I even found a 3-wheeled Sports Bag! All-wheel drive, manual handling required.

2011July2AIMS177.jpg

Let's not forget the vintage Jalopy Sports Car model.

2011July2AIMS309.jpg

I hope you appreciate the effort I went through to collect these!

p.s. To be Continued.....later.

Revising my Mosaic Angel in Birrarang Marr Gardens with Ferris Wheel in background, against the Elements - clear sky this time.

I took my tripod; but some of the lights seem to need replacement....

I love the colors in your ferris wheel shots. Nothing beats a long exposure shot of a ferris wheel.

Where do you find these things? :rotfl2: (It was actually my DS so these might be more appropriate! )

Geez, 11 pages and we haven't seen one Mullet yet. :confused3 I think we need to work a little harder. ;)

And get this - yesterday I saw a three wheeled trike with a side car! Unfortunately I couldn't turn around, :headache: but maybe I'll see it again.

I have seen two different mullet but the camera was at home for both and I still have a dumb phone which don't take great picture at all.

PrincessinOz, I start my day smiling when I look at your posts first thing!

I'm a little behind schedule but here is my first post

Mullet two for one father and son at my church

Princess - love the photos of Rippon Lea - it is a beautiful place, but it has been too many years since I have been there!

I hadn't been in years either. They now do a tour through the house; which was quite interesting. Gardens are as pretty as always.

I love the colors in your ferris wheel shots. Nothing beats a long exposure shot of a ferris wheel.

Thanks. I did a long exposure with the Skipping Girl/Jumprope but it didn't have the same effect as the ferris wheel.

I just stumble over them....or they just jump out at me! :rotfl:
Still waiting to trip over the mullet.....:rolleyes1. Although, it's going to be hard to beat Tazdev's double mullet shot!

Thanks Twigs. I'm glad you're enjoying the posts. It's all about having fun, isn't it? I'm enjoying everyone else's posts as well. It's nice seeing the different interpretations and places.

Today is the 4th July in Australia, the first day of winter school holidays; and I took my DS into the city to see a Lego exhibition that is currently on display in Federation Square. To say I tripped over items that I did not expect to see is probably an understatement.

I took a similar shot last year for the Flags in a Row category. Look what was being flown today as a recognition for US Independence day....

Sidewalk Art - yes, he is painting her! Shame that it's not quite a mullet!

2011July4Lego017.jpg

USA - Who would have thought that I would be able to take a picture of the Statue of Liberty in Melbourne, Australia?

2011July4Lego028.jpg

So, to all my photoboard friends, I wish you a Happy Independence Day.

I'm always amazed that the Australian Dis-er's manage to get so many American photos! Great job!

Ok, with the 4th of July parade this morning, I'm able to add a whole lot more.

Costumed Mascot - a local restaurant chain has a Frownie for its mascot (an angry brownie)

Nostalgic - I know nothing about this, but DH tells me that Willy Jeeps were the first ones used in WWII and Korea
DSC01072.jpg

Patriotic - what could be more patriotic than a decorated bike contest for the kids? (Sorry about the woman's head in the lower right; couldn't crop her out w/o losing the "Celebrate America" sign on the little girl's bike)

A long time 'lurker' joining in on the fun! Finally am determined to make the time to post more!

Nothing like a holiday weekend to get going on this!
