Hey All...

I am not sure if the Spectro Magic parade is scheduled for when DH and I head to WDW, however, I have a question for you all if it is...

Do you find that pictures of the parade come out better with or without the flash?

Thanks!
Jenn

Just from my own personal experiences, you can not light up anything 20 feet away, flash is then a waste. It's actually better to preset your camera to night time angle, longer exposure, and the lights on the floats seems to be ample, I'm talking digital cameras, try a shot with and then without and check your shots, go with what looks the best, and as for a SLR camera, high speed film, longer exposure and wider aperture setting, no flash.

Don't use the flash - when you get home you'll just have pictures of floats with lots of light bulbs! For best shots you need a high ISO speed and a tripod - and switch the flash off.

I am going to check out the photography thread. I have used my digital camera to take pictures of Spectro, and they never seem to come out right. However, my video camera has a memory stick, and I use the picture setting to take my still photos. My photos come out awesome this way. Maybe I'm doing something wrong with the digital. I have tried many settings, and can't get it to work. Photography thread here I go!

Only 27 more days to go!!:woohoo: :woohoo:
