I was thinking that since this is a photographic thread at heart, it would be fun to have a little challenge of our own right here, in taking pictures of our pets.
Let's see NEW shots of our pets WITHOUT RED EYE (which occurs when the flash bounces off a retina). Now I'm guilty myself; in fact the last few shots I've gotten of my dog have been indoors using flash and she has redeye, too. But the pictures come out so much better when you can see the natural eye.
It's a bit of a challenge indoors since you need to be by a light source, perhaps a window or door. You may also need to bump up the ISO of your camera a bit if you're indoors. But new photos can be either indoors or outdoors.
So, let's see em! I'll try to get some today as well.
(Of course even if you're not participating in this challenge we'd love to see your pet pictures as well.)
