lsayd - nice to see your pooch having such a great time at WDW! ;) My doggie's jealous! :lmao:

Oh, she just loves it there - especially the treats! I made a photojournal "written" by her for my son (who's a college CM there right now) of her all over WDW looking for him - she's swims in Epcot, visits all 4 parks, resorts, even Vero Beach! Some say I have too much time on my hands...

Here she is in MGM in her Mickey t-shirt (she lets us do anything to her as long as a treat is involved!)

and at Fantasmic! where she'll finally finds him (he works Fantasmic! as well as the gift shops at RnR and ToT)

Awwww!

Here are some of my pets. I have a whole folder of pet pictures but I can't seem to find it.

This is our Dalmation Pongo. Him and DS are best buds and I have a ton of pictures with them like this. Pongo has a Hidden Mickey on his back. I don't think you can see it in this picture though.

Drag is pretty!!! Sorry that you lost him... I know that pain... my cat (somewhere on this thread) died about 2 1/2 months ago... still miss him terribly.... matter of fact just coming into the house a bit ago, there was a tear... then saw our stray kitty outside the back door (she used to harass George). Her timing was incredible.

Have you heard or read the poem about the Rainbow Bridge???

may make you cry but such a beautiful thought!!!

Sha, Thank you for the compliment. I have read that poem and yes I cry every time. It hits me at the beginning but especially at the point of... They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... "

I agree fully, that at that part, it really hits you. I had George for 1 1/2 years but had another cat when i was younger... so now its nice to think they will both come running :)

Skilly.jpg

Skilly lost her fight with cancer - Monday November 19, 2007 - she was 12 and my best friend.

The emptiness is horrible - - but the memories are wonderful. We got Skilly and her brother Mac when they were eight years old. Mac lost his battle with "Blasto" a very nasty disease when he was eight - so Skilly was the light of our lives!!

I close my eyes and know they are together again - - fighting over whose ball it is - or running together, one on each end of a stick.

The pain of loss is great - - but the love they share while they are here is worth more than money could ever buy!!

Here are some of my Puppies. They got invited to my Uncles Halloween party and coustumes are a must, So I made them some custom wings that attached right to there harness. I was a Lady bug, and Lilly went as a butterfly and Abby as a Dragonfly. We all had a great time and there costumes came out super cute. I took a picture of my moms puppy Bear too, she didnt get wings but looked adorable in her collar.

I'm sorry to hear about Drag and Skilly. :grouphug: They were beautiful.

Angela, I'm glad you finally found your little dog. She's a cutie! And the picture is nicely composed, too! :thumbsup2

PinkSugar, don't they look adorable in their cute Halloween costumes, LOL! What kind of puppy is Bear (in last photo)?

Sorry to hear about drag and silky too, I lost my very first puppy last year at only 7 months old and dogs arnt just dogs they are furry members of your family and having to part with them is never easy. I dont think I will ever stop missing her but I got Abby and Lily beacause I Had alot of love to give, they will never replace my Honey Bear, but I belive that the ones you love will find there way back to you in time and when you least expect it. Just try to remember the good times untill then :flower3:

Belive it or not, Abby and Bear are sisters, a bit after I lost my honey bear who was half papillon and half mini schnousher the breeders called me up and had another litter so we brought Abby home whos is also what I call a schazion and everyone in the family lovd her and her sister so much my mom called the breeder just a few months ago we brought bear home, she has the same mini schnousher mom as abby but her daddy is a pom instead of a pap.
Bear and Lilly are both tiny and 4 months old and love to play with there big sister abby.
