photo shop vs. paint shop pro

Do you prefer one over the other? I quickly took a look at prices and found paint shop pro ( I think that is what its called...) for around $90 and photo shop for about $150.00....does anyone recommend one over the other?

Amazon has Photoshop Elements 6 for $69.99 plus a $20 rebate.

I've never used Paint Shop so I can't comment on the differences. I use PSE 4. Downloaded the trial version of #6 but could not see enough of a difference to justify the extra $$ to upgrade.

I think it all depends on what you get used to. I've never used photoshop and when I tried to use it, I liked my paint shop pro better. But, I'm sure those using PSE would probably the same about PSP. I would download trial versions of them & then see which one you like better or works better for what you're trying to do.
