Photo Shop confusion

I just got Photo Shop Elements. I've watched 10 tutorials, my mind is spinning, and I'm still confused! I just needed to vent! I zoomed in on a pic, and couldn't figure out how to zoom out! I need Photo Shop for Dummies!! I know that you use the alt button quite a bit, but the tutorials barely mentioned it. I guess I'll keep reading the Help section!

Click on the magnifying glass on the toolbar and 3 buttons will appear below the menu bar. Click "Fit on screen" and it will zoom out. You may be able to right click with some options there.

Thanks DOM13. You're the only one who responds with Photoshop help for me! Everyone else knows what they're doing, and is busy making creations! I'm doing a little better. Understanding layers a little more. Thanks again. You helped me to decide to get Photo shop instead of Photo Impact!
