Nice Andy. I like the Bourne Bridge shot. Its been a whilel since I've taken that cruise. I keep meaning to bring the oldest DS, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Thanks. I liked that shot the moment I took it.

The cruise isn't all that exciting to us locals, but I can see how it would be neat as a tourist at least. The organization that my DW belongs to has their annual meeting on the boat every summer so I get to go every year for what it's worth.

I will say it is very interesting. Lots of history there. I worked on it for 2 summers back in 90 & 91. I have a full photo album of shots of just about everything along the route and MANY different boats and ships that went through. Tugs, barges, yachts, stick boats, cruise ships and others.

Of course the one time when I wish I had my camera I didn't. I'll never forget it... Sept 90. We were doing a charter on a Sunday night and it was a full harvest moon. Coming back east with the Sagamore Bridge behind us the moon completely filled the bridge. The moon looked huge, it was low in the sky and with the bridge in front of it, it made for an amazing sight.

Nice shots, Andy. :goodvibes

DH and DS were at that amazing Sox game last night - we'll see what they came up with with the ol' S3.

And these next ones require a bit of an explanation...one of my mom's friends wanted a picture of my pet rooster, Buster. So I was taking a variety of them this morning, like this one:

...and then decided to shoot some throwaway photos like this one, killing time, waiting for him to do something interesting...

...during which time Clyde, the turkey, apparently became jealous.

maybe not my best shot but i like this one of my son swinging from a rope into a river where we camped this past weekend. I was so scared watching i'm surprised i got the shot!

I think it's a great shot, you totally captured the moment.

OK-LMAO at the turkey upstaging the rooster.:rotfl2: :lmao:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

What a great shot. He looks evil

I know! In this shot, he totally reminds me of the buzzards that are before the big hill in Splash Mountain. We just need to get him a top hat.

I know, I love streets'names and cie! :goodvibes

I'm just starting to process the hundreds of shots I took from my 5 day rafting and 8 day sightseeing trip in Colorado. Here's one of the first pictures I like; taken at Great Sands National Park on July 27th on our hike down from the top of the highest dune.

Thank you! The entire trip was beautiful especially since Colorado's snowfall was the highest in 11 years. We saw snow in the mountains everywhere; water at the base of the dunes and flowers in mountains not normally found this late.
