I've enjoyed finally getting to use long focal length lenses on the A6300 with autofocus - using the LA-EA3 adapter and the Tamron 150-600mm lens from my Alpha mount, the A6300 focus is fast and snappy and fun to play with this combo while I wait for my A68 to arrive next month. Here are some bird and wildlife wetlands shots with the big combo:

Well, my daughter's lacrosse career has come to an end and on a winning note. On Saturday her college team beat their rival and won the conference championship. It was a back and forth game with the "good guys" coming out on top 13-11.

When she was a freshman most of the juniors and seniors quit on the team and there were a few lean years including many games they had to play an entire game down a player. I'm proud of her for sticking with it and not quitting! Here are some shots from the game taken with either the Minolta Maxxum 200mm 2.8 or the Sony Zeiss 24mm 1.8 on my NEX-7.

Here she is, #9. This year she didn't score as many points as other years but did a great job moving the ball down the field and setting up others.

She scored her 100th career point this game - I missed it but this is right after.

#7 is a sophomore and played with my daughter in high school. She will likely be named the Conference player of the year. Tremendous athlete that also plays field hockey.

The game did get a bit "chippy" at times...

#1 was another senior and had a knack for getting the ball in the net.
