It feels like years since I have posted. Just been way busy, but I'm finally back.

I love this! My BF races and always wants me to get good shots of him. I had a Sony P&S but just got the Nikon S630 (P&S) but I haven't used it yet. My BF has a D300. I think I need to have him teach me how to use it.

I love all these great pictures and would love to take some of my own.

The color (or lack of ) is awesome!

No it wasnt from the Marc Small tournament .. it was from the York Cup, local tournament close to my house. I didnt make it there for the Marc Small tournament but I knew it was going on. I will be down that way in August for the Marc Small 5k Race. Let me know if you can make it for that it would be great to meet you. Marc was my nephew and they have a few events throughout the year to raise funds for Small Steps in Speech.

Would love to see any pics you might have from the one yesterday. My other nephew Matt, Marc's brother, was probably there ... he is a soccer coach.

Riders from the Tour de France visited here today to complete the final leg of seven straight days of riding through California. Unfortunately the spots that I wanted to take pictures were off limits. So I had to settle for what I got. It was awesome to see these guys in person.

I don't have a picture to post - but I just wanted to share that I am super excited because DH got me my first DSLR camera this weekend! I am the proud owner of a Nikon D3000!

I am a complete rookie, but am taking a class in August and can't wait! I'm looking forward to posting pics here! Because of all of you, and my husband and his Nikon D80, I'm SO inspired!

Today's picture... my husband likes to golf... I try but am bad at it so I drive the cart and on yesterday's golfing adventure I took the camera and laid in the grass to take this

Looking at it now I realize I should have focused on the words on the ball but that's ok..next time
