Here is our Buddy Finn. A 3 year old with Down syndrome from our Down syndrome family playgroup yesterday.

A new shot of an old gas station interior. I love old buildings like this. Makes me wonder what conversations happened here just 25 or 30 years ago.

Went to a little town just up the river from Niagara Falls called Niagara On The Lake this weekend.

Here's the hotel we stayed at. What a great place to stay....

Scott, I wish I had your composition. I love your shot.

thanks, I did not know I had this until this morning when I was looking at some old photos from 2008. I must have planned this as I have a series of sequential shots showing the monorail moving through the scene.

That whole town is an awesome place. We went there in 2006. I remember that hotel. Nice shot.

Hello, I am a n00b at photography - but I am trying to learn. I recently got a Nikon D90, 18-55mm f/3.5 - 5.6, 70-300mm f/4.5 - 5.6, and a 50mm f/1.8.

I love the pictures here. I hope to get a better eye for composition by going back through this thread. :)
I think I need to check into Photomatix Pro and Topaz, too. All I use now is LR3 (and sometimes some PhotoShop CS5).

The post-processing may take me longer to learn to tweak than taking the original 'just right' photo!

I will post a few of my pics for constructive criticism. :)

Thanks! It's a great place to visit, a lot of photo ops there. We are only about an hour away but this is the first time we stayed there.

More from NOTL...

We are getting close to 250 pages. I will start another thread once we reached that number. :thumbsup2

When I first opened my new D90, I slapped the 50mm f/1.8 lens on it and went out to the backyard with my resident photo model to see what it could do. This was one of my first pics - my DD having fun acting like a monster.
