Evad/Dave. Would you mind sharing your camera settings on that D80. You can really rock that camera! What custom settings are you using for such crisp shots? I'm assuming you've done some tweaking away from the factory defaults? How are your "Optimize Image" settings set? Thanks in advance. Laura

To tell you the truth I haven't changed the settings all that much.
Under "Optimize Image" I have it set as the following

Vivid

Custom settings

Image sharpening - auto

Tone compensation- auto

Color mode a(sRGB)

Saturation - enhanced

Hue adjustment - 0

I also used Ken Rockwell's site for some other tweaks Here is a link.

A fun sun flare shot I got of my daughter the other day. I just finished fiddling with it in Lightroom and then added usm and a little contrast in Paintshop pro X2. That was my first time getting them because before last week I avoided backlighting. Now I'm really loving it.

ISO 250 f/2 ss 1/2000(yeah it was underexposed I was shooting fast not paying attention to the light meter oppsie thankfully I'm in RAW and could bump it up some.)
