What a great service. Your pictures all look wonderful! I hope they're doing that when I'm there. It would be so cool to have a Dapper Day photo shoot, or a holiday one. My daughter did Bibbidi Bobbidi a few years ago and the photopass photographer did a mini photo shoot for her in front of the castle, it was so cute.

Even a couple hundred dollars would be worth it if you can get so many great pictures AND it's at Disneyland.
My son's senior photos were like $400 and that was just one person for 45 minutes. Some photographers were charging more like $1,000.

PS. I've had my eye on that spirit jersey! I don't have any yet.

I wish we'd known about it the day before when we were in our Adventureland Day garb!! We probably wouldn't have had time, though, since we were running around for the scavenger hunt and decoding the secret message to get our pins

We did the free trial last month and got around 15 edited photos emailed to us two days later. The photographer was really patient and gave us some great shots near the castle.

You can google "free Disneyland photopass shoot" and find info about it. I don't know what I can link here. Basically, you go to the bridge where you enter Frontierland and line up, but I don't know what the current times are or if they're there all day. Here's a view of the line.

Well, except when I was there (at OBB in September). they were no longer doing that lineup thing...I was basically told there were now "roaming" photogs in each land and if you saw one, just ask them to do a shoot. I did see a young woman with a photog on the side of the castle by Royal Hall. Her boyfriend was holding her purse while she was posing and the photog shot several poses and then they moved to another location. . I wanted to do it cuz @DizMe's pics turned out so cute...but I just felt weird about asking random PP people, "hey can you shoot pics of me?" Just not in my DNA.

I'm sure it's completely random and to be honest, I never saw another photog just standing around in a random location, waiting to be approached.

Tink, I had heard that the line was back but that was a few months ago. I don't know what the current situation is, but hopefully someone else has some info. I don't think they were doing it when we were there last week because it was pouring most of the time!
