Hi was wondering about photo pass, I'm thinking of buying a prepay one before we go am I right in thinking I will pay the payment and then all of the pics we have taken whilst there will be put on a Dvd or something for us to print/save at home? Sorry if this is a really obvious question :)

You pay $120 upfront then after your trip you load the pics(codes on the photopass cards) onto the photopass website, add borders then order for delivery, if you don't have many you can download them for no extra charge, if like us you have 1000's then you have to pay for the CD's sending, first time we got 7 CD's, costs about another $10-12 for postage.

When you get the CD's they have a copyright release form on so you can print as many as you want for personal use, no commercial use. Personally we don't print them, we prefer to view on the computer or TV.

Thanks Wayne I don't think we will have thousands but will be getting as many character pics and main viewpoint pics as possible. :thumbsup2

Add lots of different borders to the same photo and save them - there's no limit and the same photo can look different with each border added to it, it's lots of fun to do (if a bit time consuming!). Even if you don't print off every photo it's nice to have them and to view them all on a digital photo frame etc as Wayne says :)

We had a week in February and we only did 2 sets of icon pics the rest were from character meet & greets (which we didn't do loads of either) and still had 200 raw images.

The biggest issue I have is the varying quality some are fantastic others almost poor however the good outlay the bad! We usually get some great candid shots of DD which make it worth the price alone.

If you download them from the website can you burn them to a disc yourself and print them that way?

Yes, you can do whatever you want with them, they are just regular photo files but they have a limit on the amount you can download, wasn't anywhere near enough for us. I highly recommend having as many pics taken as poss, even if you think you are duplicating, many will have people in background you don't like or out of focus etc, they are not the best photographers in the world so have loads done, then the boarders add 100's more after you get home. Out of the 1000's we have had done over 3 photopasses there are probably only about 50 exceptional pics
