Photo pass ride photos?

If you have magic band will ride photos show up? Or is that a memory maker only feature?

Yes, it is amazing to get home and view all the ride photos. Also to our surprise, were videos of us riding 7 dwarfs mine train and tower of terror!

did you just have photo pass or did you have memory maker?

They are only automatically added to your account via your magic band if you have the memory maker package.

If you don't, you can purchase individual ride photos at the counter after the ride.

I only had photo pass and all my ride and photographer photos are available online, as well as the video from Mine Train (I just can't buy that). I can purchase any of the photos id like. OP Id check your PhotoPass online and see, as it's my understanding that all photos now link to Magic Bands whether you have PhotoPass or Memory Maker, you just can't buy videos

They recently changed it to add all the Ride Photos to the regular Photopass. I forget when it was but there was an article that said anyone who had been on one of the rides within the previous 45 days would have them added on. I had been home for a couple weeks but I was there within the time frame so I went to the PP site and there they were. You do have to purchase them individually but they are there to look at

ok so just to clarify unless something glitches in the system, but when i ride a photo ride, it should pop into my account through magic band even if all I don't have MM?

No, they are there. They just aren't "free to download" unless you have MM. They were even there for our trip in early August and we did not have MM. We had bought the old Photopass Archive Disk (just before it was discontinued) and when we got our disk in the mail, the ride photos were there. I assume they got included because by the time we ordered the CD the only option was MM so if you got the CD they just sent everything that was taken.

My friend just came back from her honeymoon in Disney during Halloween and said that she's missing a few ride pictures and actually have pictures of the people before them. Does that happen often?

The only time we got other people was on the rides where you can "claim" a picture by putting your band under the picture right after getting off the ride such as on Buzz Lightyear. I think my kids claimed the wrong picture so we got both the right pictures and the pictures of other riders.

We also got a few pictures of total strangers from standard photographers, I have a feeling there is something they have to push when switching people and they forgot to push it.

It does happen but I am not sure it would be called often. Not when you consider the sheer volume of pics they take and distribute each day.

Often it's no problem to get the missing pic by simply using their online form to report the missing picture.

Ohhh that's good to know. They're newbies so they might have claimed other pics on accident. I haven't used the magic band yet but will in April so I'm trying to get my ducks in a row and be a pro at it by then thanks!

thank you very much! i understand possibility of glitches but nice to know its supposed to be added to account and then i can choose to buy when i get back to room or home even along with a couple other pics i deem worthy and still come out cheaper then MM for a 1 day park

We just got back from a trip a couple of weeks ago and got an email with the option to buy pics and even had our Mine train and ToT videos to watch. We never took any photo pass pics or signed up for MM. We never requested anything and there they were!!
