How far ahead should I order photopass plus. Just want to make sure it gets to New Zealand in plenty of time :) thanks

We are in DL next month and we ordered ours about November. But it was here within two weeks, not sure why I ordered it so early. A month out should give you heaps of time.

I'd allow over a month, maybe a month and a half to two months. It just gives you a voucher which you take to the photopass stores (at DL or DCA) and exchange for the photopass and the 14 days of the pass starts from then (when you exchange the voucher).

you really need that voucher..

pop it in with your passport as soon as you get it!:wave2:

Do I have to order it or can I purchase it in Disneyland ??
What are the benefits of ordering it ?? Thanks :thumbsup2

You can buy it there. I have done both, I have ordered and had it delivered and I've also bought it there. It's really the same, when you pre-order, you have to take the voucher and exchange it for the photopass. If you don't have the voucher, you just buy it and get the photopass on the spot.

Advantage of pre purchasing, it's $69.95. If you buy it there it's $99.95, so you save $30 by getting the voucher.

Ah, thanks for clarifying. I knew that it was cheaper if you pre-order, which if I'd thought about it for three seconds I would have realised it meant you could buy it over there :confused3:rotfl2:

And make sure you edit your photos BEFORE you order the CD! Somebody I know, forgot to do that and didn't get all the pretty borders and stuff :( :sad2:

And make sure you remember to order the CD once you get home before the photos expire! Yes I have forgotten to do that before. So pre-purchasing the CD may have saved me lots, however it really cost me lots as I paid for nothing!

Although PP+ is awesome because at the character meals that do a photo, you get the hard copy at the restaurant which is $30. We did four character meals that included the photo so that was $120 + tax worth in hard copies alone and we only paid $69.95 for the CD!

BARGAIN! :woohoo:

Thank you Minnie ~ now where can I order it from?? :)

I say order it as soon as you have the money set aside for it. It's such a bargain, but who knows how long it will remain at it's current price. Disney hike the price on things all the time, usually with little-to-no warning.

I got the WDW one for my last trip and thought it was the best value for money purchase of the whole holiday. When I got home I opted for the download option instead of the CD. The CD would have cost postage and I was too impatient to wait for it. The download option, meanwhile, was near instant.

I really loved the photopass + on our last trip and it is a definite for our upcoming trip. I was two minds about getting it at disneyland as well but think I might just get it for both. I do love my photos:banana:

Has photopass+ been changed to Memory Maker? I tried to look up photopass+ the other day and it came up with the same sounding package but was about $150 under the new name...

Is the photo package on DCL worth it? I thought we would get the WDW package but wouldn't bother with DCL (might buy an individual photo or two if we liked one a lot).

Pretty much. I haven't looked at MM in detail; so I haven't really taken a look at what the differences are; but the major difference might be MM allows you to download the pictures. I think you can order a CD; but that's extra. With PP+, you get the CD (and we have to pay the extra international shipping fee).

I've heard a few people say that they didn't think the DCL one was as good value as the WDW/DL photo packages.
