I think I read here that you have to pick up your photopass plus in the park. If that is correct, what will I get mailed prior to us leaving?
DisneyJamieCA said:The mail you a CD with their stock photos. In that is the coupon code to reedem the actual CD after your trip (you'll have to break the seal they put on it).
Along with that will be voucher for the Photopass Plus, that you will turn in at the parks (at either the photo place in DL or DCA). They'll give you a card on lanyard that you give to FP photographers, at character meals and the rides. We just used it last weekend and I highly recommend it!
I could swear that the info they send says do not break the seal. I think you give it to the CM at the PhotoPass Plus booth.
Cinderpamela said:Nope, the cd package is just the stock photos and then the instructions for what you do after you get back from the park to get the cd sent to you... and it has the code that you use for ordering it online to prove that you prepaid.
It just says "No refunds or exchanges if the seal is broken" because you can't return the stock photos cd (they used to sell them in the park, buth the stock photos are not the most recent so thats why they are a free promo with the photo pass plus deal) if the seal is broken.
I love the idea. But what I hate is we will be coming in a day early and are eating at Goofys kitchen and would have loved to use it instead of buying those pictures...
Just the voucher is what you need in the Parks. We just did this last week.
Editing: Found the link to the discounted photo pass plus and it says to allow 14 days. I'm too late.
New question to those who have had the PP+ .... Do you think its still a good deal at the regular price (which I think people have said is $99)?
We did this exact thing; you don't have to buy the package at GK. Just tell them that you have a PhotoPass+ voucher but haven't redeemed it yet. They'll give you specific instructions on how to handle it (instructions seem to vary a bit depending on who you talk to). We just had to go to the PhotoShop on Main Street the next day, and they printed out our Goofy's Kitchen package there.
