What is Photo Pass and what is Photo Pass+? One is free and one is $69, but I'm confused on what you get or are allowed to do with one vs the other?

The Plus is a very good deal! We have taken almost 50 pictures in the 3 days we've been here. That includes ride pictures and posed photos and character photos. I never buy ride photos but I have added every one to my account and can't wait to see them all once I get home and start playing with my pictures. At $69.95, it doesn't take very long to get your money's worth. Pic prices vary but are generally about $15 each, so you only need to do 5 to make it worth the price.

I was just going to order the PP+ today, but I'nm too late since we'll be at DLR in 11 days, and you have to order at least 14 days before you go!!! So, FYI to everyone, don't wait until it's too late!!!!!

I just wanted to share my experience. I ordered mine on a Sunday and received it four days later on a Thursday. It arrived extremely fast. We exchanged the voucher in DL for the photopass + card, very easy. We used it in the parks. Received the photo packages in hand at Minnie and Friends breakfast and Goofy's Kitchen for dinner, plus they were on my CD. I had at least ten ride photos loaded on my CD and walked away with over 100 photos with the photographers. Once I completed my edits after our vacation, I had 555 photo's. I ordered my CD on Monday and it arrived on Friday. Worth every penny!

The photopass service is free, but the pics or the CD (to print your own pics) aren't free, so that is the difference. As another poster above mentioned, if you don't buy the CD, the prints are about $15 each, so if you are planning on getting around 5 or more prints, it would be worth getting the CD (photopass+). :)

The Photopass Plus is $69 if you pre-order. $99 if you get it in the park. You get a CD of all your pics. It includes ride photos and packages from any of your dinners (includes the actual prints that you would buy at the dinner and the pics on your CD).

Regular photopass is free to get a card, but to get your pics, you either have to purchase prints or purchase a CD. I think the CD is $69. You cannot get ride pics added to your account and have to purchase dinner pics separately.

I ordered the Plus, but have a question. If our party is in separate locations can we both use the photo pass, and how would that work? It is not a super big deal if we can't use it in two locations, but there are times it would be nice.
::yes::

Yes and no
You can have as many photopass cards as you like and then input the codes online and all your pictures will be there
But
The plus card you only get one of and can't get more
So for that you need he card at the rides or meals you are at, if you don't have the card then write don the number on the screen and later take he card back and have it added

EDIT: Duplicate info even though I reloaded before replying

I was told you can have a photo of the 'plus' bar code on your phone and the photographer can scan that. Haven't personally tried it though.

Sorry if this question has already been asked/answered...Do I need to pay for just 1 photo pass + for our entire family or per person?

How does this work with a family of 5 when we may split up and do different rides, etc.?

I mainly want to order this for the cost saving of being able to get a lot of family pictures of us throughout the parks (using the photographers).

One more question... If you pay or the photo pass + do you get the CD of all pictures from the trip included in the price? :confused3

TIA :goodvibes

You just get one photo pass+ for the family. You can get unlimited regular photopass cards from the photographers. So, each adult in the group can get their own photopass cards to take regular photopass photos and "magic shots". Your family will just get one photopass+ card for the family. You need this card to get the ride photos and dining photo packages. So, if you're splitting up, the person going on a ride with a photo can take the + card and the person/group who may stop to take a pic in front of an icon or with a character can use a regular card. If you should split up and both go on a ride with a photo, then the person without the + card can take a picture of the photo # on the screen or write it down. Then the person with the + card can go there later in the day and have it added to the card.

You enter your + card # and all your regular card #s into your photopass account. You then get a CD of all the pics from all the cards. With the +, you get a code to enter so that your CD is free (included in the price of the +).

To clarify further. Photopass is what has always been available. You can get new cards for free from any photographer around the park who takes your picture. Or, you can hand them a card you already have. After your trip, you can enter all these numbers into the photopass website, view your photos, crops, add borders, and order individuals prints or a CD of all your pics. If you order a CD, it costs $69.95 and you then have a digital copy of all your pics to make prints, photobooks, anything.

Photopass+ can be bought for $69.95 if you prepay before your trip, or $99.95 if you buy in the parks. With it, you get a gallery CD of stock photos and a special photopass+ card. (or if you prepay, you get a voucher to receive a + card in the park) You can hand this + card to any photopass photographer in the park, to have regular photopass pics taken and added to your card. In front of the castle, on main street, with a character, etc. You could also get and use a regular photopass card for these pics. With the + card, you can bring it to the ride photo checkout and have your ride photo added to the card. You cannot do this with a regular card. You can also show your + card at a participating dining restaurant to get the photo package that they normally offer for purchase for around $30. If you show your card, they give you the package "for free" and also put the pictures on your card. They don't take more pictures around the restaurant, just the regular picture that everyone takes in front. The difference is that you do not have to pay extra to purchase it and the pics are added to your card. Once you get home, you can enter your + card number, along with all your regular card numbers into the photopass website. Edit, crop, add borders, etc. Then, using the code inside your stock photo CD, you can order the CD of your pics "for free." It's the same CD that you would have ordered had you not gotten the +, but now it includes your ride and dining photos.

I've seen a lot of confusion on this. Hope that's clear and helps somewhat.

We got the photo pass when we went to DL last year, and it was great. We got the CD on the last day, from the photoshop in Main Street.

With the photo pass + , can you still get the CD from the photoshop or do you have to wait and order when you get home?

Thank you for the clarification/explanation. We enjoy getting ride photos so that makes this a good deal for us. Plus the family photos would be nice.

Not sure if you can get the CD from the photoshop, but you can download the pictures immediately when you get home; no need to wait on them to ship it to you.

Thank you for the detailed reply! I think I'm going to order it for our upcoming trip! :thumbsup2
