Just got back from four freezing cold days at WDW! Never thought we would have to wear our winter coats at the MK! We stopped for our traditional picture in front of the castle on our way into MK and were given a Photo Pass which we used throughout our stay. Yesterday when we got home I clicked into the website and punched in my pin and there were our wonderful pictures. What a great service! I had so much fun adding borders and captions and then sending slide shows to our relatives. This is so much better than the old system!

I'm thinking of booking a vacation in early December just so that we can get our holiday card photo taken by a Disney photographer and then creating cards all on the Disney Photo Pass website.

Definitely, take advantage of this system!

Yes this deffinately is a great service.. The person that thought up the idea deserves a raise or some type of bonus... I have RAREly heard anyone dissatisfied

I love the service too!

But, I hate that I have pictures missing (from two separate days). I have filled out the forms twice and still nothing.

We LOVE photopass! on our last trip we came back to 55 pictures and I must say most of them were really good. A few came out blurry but the rest were great.

I love being able to make the magic last longer, that way we can enjoy a bit of Disney magic for 30 more days.

I like the PhotoPass system also, but while I was down in May, 2005 I was able to purchase 4X6 shots for $9.95. I was down in December also. When I got home, you could not get 4X6's any more. $12.95 for each 5X7. I got 10. I had lots more on the cards, but at those prices it is kind of hard to justify the expense. And you can't even get one of each and then try to get reprints at Wally World and the like, because the photos are copyrighted. :(

Shoot, I guess I'm going to have to scan them and try to make reprints at home. :crazy2:

i thought the photopass had some deal going where you could buy a cd with all your pics on for $99. :confused3

Isn't there a Photo CD that you can purchase for $100 that allows you to make reprints at places such as Walmart? I would love to find out more about that. Seems like it would be worth the money.

I wish we would have know about it at the time. I definately would have done that. In May, we had something like 40 pics thru PhotoPass. Thank goodness they had a 20% off discount code.

The discount code was in effect for my December pics also, but in my hase, I forgot to add the discount and ended up paying full price for the 10 pics. I emailed Disney, but did not get any response, so I just chalked it up to user ignorance and know that I will doubly check everything on the site before I click "Enter"!!

Just got back from Disney on Feb 3.

We had 118 pictures on our PhotoPass and one of the photographers explained to us that they just started a new deal - get ALL your pictures on one CD with the copyrights so that you can print them out anywhere without getting hassled.

The one drawback - you HAVE TO buy the CD before you leave and there are only a couple places to do it - Epcot by Spaceship Earth, MK in Toontown, and one other that I cant remember.

When we went to Epcot on the morning we were flying home it was raining so the camera store wasnt crowded. The CM behing the counter went through every picture and centered it, zoomed in, croped it, and added borders and character signatures - IT WAS AWESOME. We paid $99 for all the pictures - I was able to download them to my hard drive and put them on a website to share with family and friends. Plus I can print them out at WalMart or such for 15 cents!!!!!!!

I think it was a great deal - if I knew how great it was going to turn out I would have made sure to get LOTS more pictures taken every time I saw a photographer.

The service sounds great!! If you have more than one photo pass card, can you combine them onto one CD?

Yes, you can, as long as you don't go over 300 photos

A Photo Pass sounds great - where do you get them? How does it actually work, I mean how do you get the pictures taken? Are there specific places to go, or do photographers wander around? The $99 deal sounds wonderful.

I agree that the person who though up photopass should get a raise. What a wonderful service!! Without it we would have very few pictures of the entire family and all 56 of our pictures are really good! We purchased the CD and it took little time and well worth the $100!

Check out www.disneyphotopass.com and click on "learn more about Disney's PhotoPass service"

Basically, you get an id card that you have the PhotoPass photographer scan every time you get a picture taken. There's a thread here on the DIS where people have listed where all they got pics done.

We had 80 pictures on two photpass cards. The third place to get all of the pictures on one cd is Grand Floridian! We waited until the last day to go to EPCOT and have it done! Go early in the morning! The young gentleman took time with me and added the special touches to some of the photos for us! My sugestion is stop at every photopass person and have your pictures taken a lot of times, day and night!! I think it is a great money maker for Disney and a good thing for us too! Because we never purchace the pictures from Disney but now they have 100 of our dollars, and we have 80 pictures we can print off or have as a screen saver/ dest top! So it is a win win !! :sunny: I do not want to see my countdown clock, this is my first reply since we got home last night!!! :guilty: :guilty: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :worried: :(

Thanks Annette_VA .... :goodvibes
