Photo Pass - Is it worth is?

1. It will not show up in the app. Must access it in the website 2. It was listed in my package Info that came in the mail 3. It just worked. Would check at night at the hotel and all pics were always there from that day. Some took a few hours to show up

Thank you so much. I've asked this multiple times on other threads with no response. :)

Can someone clarify for me? I was under the impression that Photopass and/or Photopass+ could no longer be ordered.....that you had to go with Memory Maker. I thought I read somewhere that they were only "honoring" Photopass for those who already had it ordered prior to the switchover to Memory Maker. Thanks!

First, to clarify, above someone incorrectly stated that you only got the number of photos that would fit on one cd with PhotoPass+. This is incorrect. You were sent as many CDs as it took - I believe the record was 12 or so? I asked once. There was no additional charge for more CDs.

PhotoPass is the picture taking service at Disney and has not gone anywhere. Memory Maker is a new product that is similar to an old product called PhotoPass +, which is no longer available. The pre-order Disney PhotoPass Archive Disc is still available. Just visit the help section under Disney PhotoPass archive disc pre arrival offer to read about it.

Anyone that purchased PhotoPass+ before memory maker was sold will still get PhotoPass+. You can't upgrade since they are completely different products. You can return PhotoPass+ for a refund to then purchase memory maker or you can just use the PhotoPass+. It hasn't changed at all.

I was going to say the same thing about that limit post. I once got over 6,000 photopass pictures after all of my editing was done. They definitely didn't all fit on one CD:rotfl2:

As for the Photpass+ vs. Memory Maker, the biggest differences are that Memory Maker is an all digital product, so you go home and download the pictures you want, including any edits you want (I've noticed that the editing process is much more liberal on Memory Maker. More options are available for the pictures). Additionally, whereas Photopass+ was limited to one photopass card, everyone in your party can have photos added to their magic bands, and those photos will show up on the MM account. However, only the person with the MM account can download photos. But, they can share them with as many people as they want once they're downloaded.

The current Digital Disney Photopass options available are:
1. Memory Maker (all photos, preorder or purchase in parks)
2. Attractions+ (all attraction photos for 14 days, must be purchased in parks, available at any ride that has photos)
3. Digital Download (1 attraction photo, must be purchased at the desired attraction within 48 hours of riding)

Hope this post helps clear up some confusion :goodvibes
