Thank you!!

Oh my gosh I am so thrilled about this being back! We used it twice in the past and loved having it. So excited I can grab it for our October trip!

This is most excellent! We leave in a month and this makes me so happy that we have the week option! Just bought mine! I hope I can figure out how to "activate it" when we get there!! Thank you OP for posting this!

So good news (for me) and bad news (in general). I finally had a chance to put my photopass codes in the website this morning. The good news is that although as I posted above, they told me they would not add my dining photos into my account because even though I was still at Disneyland those photos were taken a day or two before the new product was available, when I plugged in my photopass code all my dining photos were there. Looks like they went ahead and loaded them after they pulled them up, even though the Manager told me they would not after 2 employees told me they would.

Now for the bad news in general. There are no borders back on the website to utilize, no ability to edit the photos, and there are no products to purchase such as making the photopass book, mugs, mousepads etc. Also, the only options that I have on the website is to purchase the $69 for a week, the $39 per day or the $12.95 per photo. You can not purchase the disc. The $99 option that includes the disc apparently contains a voucher for a printed dining package so it has to be pre-purchased. I don't care about the disc so that is no big deal to me, but I do a photobook every trip and occasionally one of the other products, so I am sad those are not there and I miss the borders too! I'm going to call them and check on it just to make sure before I purchase, but at least we have the week option now!

The $99 and $119 packages can only be purchased in the stores at DLR.

You can make a book on Shutterfly (much lower cost). They have a few Disney options, but they are limited. I design my own pages and then upload them to the "digiscrap" option.

Am I right in assuming you can still add some borders in the photo shops? I hope so, but by the same token I would sure not want to be waiting in line behind someone putting borders on all their photos. :faint:

So I purchased it, and I don't see it anywhere... I did save the email. I'm hoping that once I arrive and get the photos that it will know to link them somehow? But I figured something would show up somewhere. Like for WDW I can see in my reservation that I have PP+...

I talked to them tonight as I wanted to make sure there were no other options before I purchased. Right now, there are still no borders and no products, such as photobooks, mugs, ornaments etc. available for Disneyland photos. They do not know what Disney's plans are, but there have been many complaints and they are hopeful that with the new addition of the one week photopass that some of the other things like borders and products like photobooks, mugs etc. may show back up soon too.

Stupid question, I pre-purchased this yesterday, my trip isn't until next month. How do I activate this when I get to the park?

I wanted to get the photo pass aswell from the website for 69 $

But how does it work? The website only says you need to activate it through the website/app.

I'm hearing that if you buy it, they will send things to your home address? And can take up to 3 weeks.
I leave October 5th for the US, so I'll never get it in time.

Or can I buy it from the website, and do I get a voucher by e-mail, and exchange it in the park?

good question, how early before trip should we buy it? Also I have a question, if I buy it, then all the members of my extended family can make use of it that week, right? Do I get the info in my regular disney account(I have the WDW account)? or do I need something different for DL? Also for paradise pier, the pictures, do they take a photopass at the breakfast? Is it with a character?

Does anyone know if they have borders back yet? And I had heard the number of PP photographers went down? Are there still fewer photographers? I am trying to figure out if I think PP is worth it this time.

We leave tomorrow and I purchased mine a few weeks ago. Download the Disney parks app and log in. Once you get in the parks and get your first card scan the back of the card to link it to your account. Click on the first photo and you should have the option to activate it. Here is a good article with more info

You don't actually need to pre-purchase anymore either. You can get all your photos then purchase when you get home. They no longer send vouchers in the mail it's mostly done through the app unless you get an upgraded package and I'm pretty sure you need to visit a photo shop in the park for that.

Ok, so I can just order it now from the website at 69 $?
And then, when I'm actually at DLR on October 12th, the photographer will give you a card with your pictures, and the code on that card you enter onto the photo pass website?

I have never used this service. There are 8 of us going together next month. 7 adults that will most likely split up, and do their own thing throughout the parks. Can we all go in together on the same pass? 69 dollars seems like a lot for pictures...but if we split it 7 ways it becomes 10 a person. That seems like quite a deal, especially because of ride photos.. Is that allowed? I do like that we have the option to pay after the trip!

Ok, so I see I can purchase online for $69 (we are there starting 10/5 for 3 days, so the $69 makes sense)....so I purchase it, then when we get our first card in the parks, we can activate it??
So can I purchase it today and NOT activate that week until 10/5?

Probably stupid question
Can you use photo pass (same one) if at Aulani few days then Cali parks

At DL right now. I signed up for photo pass plus online for $69.
It was available on my official Disneyland app.

A couple of things that were a surprise to me...
1. You cannot upgrade to another package $99 or 119 package in the park.

2.print Pictures from breakfast at ariels grotto are not included (we just did the character breakfast this am). We were still able to purchase printed pictures directly from them, cost around $35.
They gave us a digital download code I just scanned into the Disneyland app.

3. Very easy to scan the little photo card the photographers give you separately, into the app

For PP who was asking about sharing the cost with your group, it would be easy for them to each get a card from the photographer and use that card each time they had a picture taken by the photo pass photographer, and then add it to the main person's app at a later time.

Yes, what we did was receive a card from the photographer and added it to my photo pass area on the app and then chose to activate today for the picture done on the first day of our arrival which was Wednesday.

Really? Online it states that at the park is the only way you can upgrade, and it has to be done at the photo store either at DL or DCA. Did you go to one of those locations?
